I live in dc bro! Your in one of the best places to fish. So many different bridges, waterways, and streams. The Zoo is also a great place. I've caught Largemouth, Smallmouth, Stripers, Gar, Catfish, Shad, bluegills, Snakehead ect.
1Rod1ReelFishing the Rock Creek Park stream varies in depth and current. You can fish several different ways. Plenty of bass.

I was curious if you were using a snap to connect all your fishing lures to the line? I’ve personally thought about doing this just due to bank fishing and it making it easier and quicker to change baits. But I’ve talked to some people and they say it affects the hookup ratio. What do you think 1rod?
Use snaps all the time should try it personally I use gamakatsu tournament snaps or the spro for bigger lures. This doesn't affect hook up ratio at all.
david saijen this is great to know! I’ve always been worried about it, but it’s also a pain to constantly change lures and I find myself becoming lazy and using a lure that I know doesn’t work. Thanks for the reply!
