You're right, but it is very easy to wire, there are three wires only , a ground and two other positive wires one goes to the turn signal bulb or relay and the other can go to your fog light bulb or relay.

I just bought these same ones, but in red and amber for the back of my car. The idea is to have a rear red running light, and the sequential turn. But when I was testing them with a power supply, I would connect the yellow wire, and they worked fine. When I did what the turn signal would do, turn on and off, the red lights would light whenever I broke the circuit as in flashing. Your seem to work well. Did you do any special wiring, or just directly to the turn signal? They were in the exact same package.

If you can't find the turn signal wire at the fuse then connect it to the positive wire that goes to the turn signal light bulb. You can tap into the wires right before they go to the bulbs so you don't have to find them in the fuse area.

Where is the yellow flashback wire connected to? It should get power only when you turn on your turn signal. Make sure the wire for the yellow light is connected to the turn signal or turn signal relays.

Its got three wires (red, yelIow, black). I connected the black to the ground of the parking light bulb in the headlights and the red to the positive of the parking light bulb . And then the yellow to the positive of the turn signal bulb in the headlights.
Maybe anybody shouldn't do it? If your unable to put them inside the headlight, there is plenty of us that can. The adhesion strip is not fully weather proof it will come off as I've already seen it happen, and when it comes off in the wrong place and the wrong person (law enforcement) sees it your technically littering and I've seen places where its $3000.00 for littering. Also It's called a sequential switchback strip.
Red wire goes to positive (hook to positive headlight wire so turns on when lights do; or to accessory that turns on with key like the radio) black wire goes to ground. Yellow wire splices into the positive turn signal wire to work and override the white light when you activate your signal.
Funny you ask because mine finally broke a few weeks ago. They can fail in many ways and in my opinion these won't last longer than 1-2 years. The upside is that they are cheap and easy to install.

I should have shown how to wire it but its pretty easy. Just need to connect the black wire to the negetive on the battery and connect the red wire to the positive wire of whatever lights you turn on during the day. Then connect the yellow wire to the positive wire of your turn signal bulb. The only hard part is finding the positive wires in your car.

I have a 2009 vw passat B6 and would like to wire the white in line with my parking lamps. Is the output power wattage strong enough to drive the DRL?
Mine is wired to the parking lamps as well. It should work fine with no issues.

Yes, you just have to wire them to any light on your car that turns on when the car is unlocked. connecting it to the dome light should work.

Yes, then you'd have the turn signals only but not the daytime lights.
...just reverse them when you do the install...always good to check your wiring connections and test it out first , before the final attachment...

What car do you have? It is possible on some cars to add the strip without taking of the headlights.

Its visible in the daytime but the strip is thin so it is not as visible under direct sunlight.
