      Hello, so happy you liked our video. We flew our drone next to the cliff walk, there is a hill next to the wall which is usually empty just each our for paragliders. ☺️ Enjoy your trip and do look at our other videos, hope it helps!

    Hi the hike you mentioned towards the end was it the stoos ridge hike? If yes is there another funicular to take for the hike (as the steepest one you said was free)

      Hello, Yes I think it’s the Stoos ridge bike you are talking about as that’s the only one we did. So I actually don’t know if there is another funiclar, I don’t think there is as everyone got at the same time

    Thanks for the video. I would like to check if we can use swiss travel pass to travel to region such as Grindelwald(Not mountains such as first etc - just train and buses), lauterbrunnen, Iselwald, Interlaken with local trains and buses?

    • @TandAJAdventures
      @TandAJAdventures  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Hello, Yes you absolutely can use your Swiss travel pass in all regions in Switzerland for trains, buses and trams. The only places you won’t get for free are mountains like first but you get discounts. ☺️

    When I went to Switzerland that was in 2016, hotels thus give free transport pass within the city. Do I need a Swiss travel pass or do I buy a Swiss half fare card. From Zurich to Interlaken for instance.

    • @TandAJAdventures
      @TandAJAdventures  Před 2 měsíci

      Hello, you are absolutely right! Some locations or cities do offer regional cards like Interlaken gives free bus passes to get around. If you are thinking of staying in one location or a few then investing in a half fare card might work better ☺️

    Hi I bought the Swiss Travel Pass already, I know i cannot reserve a seat on the phone or website unless it is for like golden train...gotthard...., for another normal local train, should i just get in the train and seat anywhere without ppl? or i need to reserve a seat on the service counter at the train station before on boarding? is there a gate to scan the STP before on boarding? I really want to know the process and I have concerns if no seat reservation, my family have to stand on the train for 1 -2 hours.....

      Hello,
      Did you buy the Swiss travel pass using the link we provided? If so you don’t have to worry, it should be all fine as we have had a couple of people buying using our link and it’s been fine for them.
      Regarding seat reservations, we have never reserved any seat apart from the Belle Epoque and Golden pass train. You should be fine. The only train we were unable to sit despite having a first class train pass was the Grindelwald one because it’s the most busiest trains journey. There were many like us in the same position. If you want to be extra sure then yes you could reserve seats by going to an office but speaking from experience we have never done it and been fine. Enjoy your trip 🥰

      There are 3 mountains you can visit for free with a Swiss travel pass and the rest you get 50% off

    Hello, I am also planning to go to Switzerland. So my question is how big must be the itinerary so that we can utilize the travel pass at its full and, if possible, can you share your itinerary. Which was shown in this particular video. As I loved the way you described the places and the videography was amazing.
    Please look forward to this message and clear some of my doubts.
    Thank You ❤

      @TandAJAdventures  Před 4 měsíci

      Hello,
      Thank you for your lovely comments! So this is a hard question because it really depends on your budget. The one thing I would advice is to make the full use of your pass if you are going to purchase it. That means early waking up most days, catching trains and sometimes even visiting more than one city in a day if you are going for 7 days. If you purchase the 14 days pass and have days on your hand then you can take it a bit slow.
      I am currently in the process of uploading a full 7 and 14 day Switzerland itinerary so keep an eye out on my channel and hopefully that should give you some idea as well. ☺️

    Do you know how to upgrade to 1st class if you have Swiss travel pass 2nd class ?

    • @TandAJAdventures
      @TandAJAdventures  Před 5 měsíci

      Hello, I don’t believe you can upgrade the pass itself. You can just buy a first class pass from many Swiss travel pass counters at train stations or from the Swiss travel systems website. For trains like Belle Epoque, you have to go to the train station in Montreux and they have a specific counter for this train journey that is where you can upgrade. ☺️

    • @zamielreza2090
      @zamielreza2090 Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@TandAJAdventures in SBB app you can buy point to point class upgrade if you have 2nd class ticket . The problem is there are no option for STP . Only for half fare card , i guess we didn't need to buy a ticket if we have Swiss travel pass?

    • @TandAJAdventures
      @TandAJAdventures  Před 4 měsíci

      @@zamielreza2090Hello, Apologies I missed your comment. I am a little confused so correct me if I am wrong.
      I believe you might have purchased tickets despite having the Swiss travel pass?
      You are absolutely right, you can upgrade with a Swiss travel pass for specific trains like the Golden Pass express and Belle Epoque. You have to pay extra for first class carriages or prestige class for Golden Pass Express. I am not sure if this can be done online, I know it can be done in their office at Montreux Train station! ☺️
