I’m glad that William sees how his actions are able to traumatize and affect those impacted by it. This still doesn’t really make it right but you can’t really change the impact he had on them.
Plus, I think that they may have still loved William bc he was the only parent that stuck with them. Even if, he doesn’t do a good job at it, atleast HE stuck around-

Also in those days (the 80's) abuse was not seen as serious (unless it was visible physical abuse, and even that was not reported and stopped)
It makes sense that they would see it as normal, and even good (since it was only mental damage and not physical)... just a point of view

This video was amazing and I find quite accurate about how trauma sticks with you throughout your life one way or another often without people realizing it. Also, and this is only if you want to, do you think the aftons could react to this video to see how William reacts to there alive Au. Might have some great depth to see how William cares for them (if that makes sense)

“Why do they still love me?” This is also shown irl a lot. Some children love their parents no matter what they did to them because in the end of the day, they are still their parents. Whatever their parents did to their child (whether it was abuse, etc) they would do it to their own child because they thought that the things that their parents did was a good influence and they chose to pass it on to their child and do the same. (I also LOVE how you made William’s influence make a big impact on the children’s personality and stuff! Really accurate representation!! I love it so much! ❤)

here's the thing abt family there's a strong bond in which most ppl can not break! no matter how much your parents blame you hurt you, you still love them deep down and you'd do anything for them that in which shows loyalty in most case but some times in in others that they simply don't love there parents that's perfectly fine! but you can't hate them for no reason you should spend the most time with them before they go aswell.

Also a pregnancy is gonna stress your body anyway. You'll get stretch marks, and malnutrition could kill the fetus. Merely giving birth gives you physical health risks, so expecting a pregnant woman to have the same body she did before pregnancy is extremely stupid. I doubt considering she's had 2 other kids she has the same "beauty" she did before them.
