The isolated original studio bass track (CZcams) has so much meat to study and consume, it seriously gives us access to what Steve was REALLY doing that couldn’t be picked up in the full mix, that it makes us ALL realize how far off the mark we’ve all been when covering this song!

Who knew Harris used a good deal of ghost notes in this song?

In slower parts of songs like under Dave's 1st solo in Powerslave or Adrian's in Stranger In a Strange Land, I've always loved how creative/intricate Steve's bass parts are, and how they totally add depth and texture to the song and solo, and don't take away from it. But he even does that here on a faster part, under Adrian's solo. All just a part of his genius. Thanks for paying tribute to that with your fantastic playing!!
