Amazing piece of engineering. THANK YOU SCANIA.
My late farther got a new 110 super day cab in 1971 he loved it ,ran that till 1978 when it was replaced with a 111 with the "delux" sleeper cab, that's when he started taking me away with him. This film brings back so many childhood memories of summer holidays .thanks for posting you've just made a 48 year old mechanic feel like a 8 year old lad who used to feel like the king of the road sat with his dad in a proper Scania.
Drove one in the 70s, the start of Scania revolution, came off a TK Bedford, the rest is history, Europe Middle east UK, a real work horse, 65 no problem, they were pullers for the engine size.
these were lovely trucks they had lovely cabs just like Volvo and Man thank you also for the tune it brings back great memories Keep it going guys all the best for now
I used to go to b w motors in Middleton when my dad got an Scania lb 81 used to love seeing all the nice new trucks
Excellent video thanks 👍
Magic!
nice video
Why some of them have the headlights on the front bumper and not above it?
That's my dad's old truck in the background e Kidd of Melling
The first LB110 had terrible snatchie clutch, even when you got to know them.

B & W Motors Hyde supplied at least the first four 80's units to go into service with a foam company in Derbyshire replacing the Ford D Series units that were in service there.
