    they were responding to a man pinned under a forklift.. they responded simultaniously bescue they were on their way back from a smoke condition when this call came through... the pinned man survived and was taken to a hospital by paramus ambulance

    hm... yea your right. i dont know why he has a siren to be honest but the rule is no sirens and it been like that since my grandfather was on active duty in bergen county in the sixties and seventies

    oh... interesting. Same here in NY. But i still dont understand, becuase the red caprice that pulls in at 2:25 has a siren...

    unfortunately just lights no sirens for Fire and EMS ...even though north NJ has extremely heavy traffic

    The guy who pulled in with a siren could have been a chief. I know chiefs can have their POVs marked as emergency vehicles, and that most FDs will issue their chiefs cars. Usually, they'll just go to the scene, but sometimes they'll go to the station for a variety of reasons, usually because of a lack of daytime manpower, especially for drivers.
