About the Presenters:
Ben Baumann is a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of OpenClinica, LLC, which delivers the world's most widely-used open source clinical trial software and a fully integrated EDC-eCOA solution. The OpenClinica platform has been used in thousands of trials in over 100 countries since its inception in 2006.
Laura Keita is the Director of Training and Compliance at OpenClinica and has worked in biotechnology and pharmaceutical clinical research for over 30 years. Her background includes roles in validation and compliance, documentation and training, and software development. Laura was responsible for both designing and delivering training programs for a number of clinical data management and safety systems, including Clintrial, Clintrace, Oracle Clinical, and Empirica. At OpenClinica Laura has been instrumental in launching the company's new ePRO product, called OpenClinica Participate.
