I am glad the park are engaging with content creators now, good step in the right direction. It will be interesting to see where they decide to go with it.
I think the parks need to vett who get invited. Show statistics etc there's a lot of planning and effort that go into these things and it deserves to be rewarded by those who are honoured enough to be invited

@@stuartg6989 I mean, honestly some pages go to these events and don’t make content which winds me up so at least those who went last night have posted things but it’s definitely a mixed bag, I’m always happy to be invited but as far as social events go I’m really REALLY not a fan 😂

Great vlog, first of many of these events hopefully, just maybe a bit more content maker friendly 😂
We can hope so aha it was a lovely event, above and beyond but I couldn't see the benefit other than maybe one or two pages there who could genuinely give the event / programme some solid views. We're all here with VERY small views in comparison. I never get a chance to ask about who is chosen and why... some 100-200 views on a video channels don't make sense vs 30-50k+ views.. it's nice to have a variety but it does confuse me every time as to why I'm even there aha
I watched the OTT one before this one and it did make me laugh watching you buy the chicken from the park in the knowledge that at the event there was the same food on a complementary basis. 😂
Saved the best till last, appreciate that ;) haha honestly the chicken is just damn goooood and it was the same with the bloody combo cups. See, I'm there to support the park whereas 80% of the room were just there for a freebie. I still haven't seen much content posted from that night whatsoever..
Alton Towers always like to be secretive on projects which can be a positive giving a sense of mystery and wonder a bit like Gold Rush
They're definitely doing things different, events like this were NEVER a thing in the past. Since Lizzie left the park has put content creators at arms length but things look to be slowly changing for the better

Couldn't film a damn thing despite it all being stuff that we already know and have seen online. They said it was to make it more special for us so was hoping for exclusive but alas there was not. Still a lovely event though!

Absolutely nothing, people are saying there were secrets shared for whatever reason. NOTHING mentioned was a secret, it was all project sparkle updates that were shown at the YEG event. The only thing that was a secret that we couldn't show was a new dish on the Aramark menu and after tasing it, it was vile and wasn't worth showing anyways!

I am curious what will happen with the Alton Towers Dungeons and whether they redo the facade and also whether World of David Walliams will close this year went on Gangsta Granny the Ride and it was walk on, should not be walk on given its only 3 years old.

Scott O'Neil was president of the Philadelphia 76ers. He was known to facilitate keeping player injury information away from the public and player return timetables unclear so as to not hurt ticket sales. People in Philly hate this guy and were so happy to see him kicked out. Aramark is headquartered in Philadelphia and is known to have predatory and untechnical practices in the food industry. They will make false promises to get contracts awarded and then drastically cut food quality once those contracts are locked in while raising prices.
Of course once Scott is hired by merlin he quickly outsources all food to Aramark so his friends can get paid. That dude is not to be trusted.
I’ll leave the comment up purely because the only thing that I see that’s correct here is Aramark food being poor quality 😂

Paultons went above and beyond this was merely just a ‘here’s what we are looking to do but need your help’ sort of thing. What did confuse me however were people posting photos of the event with little engagement and saying that’s their content ‘created’…. With some not posting anything at all. Made me question the vetting process of who and who shouldn’t really be there, if you’re not gonna put in the effort or the work then why do you deserve to take the place of someone that will
