Same night I had fever Also, and my lymp nodes were hurt on that side..felt like sepsis ....wen to sleep after gettin home from pharmacy and takin first AB tablet..while in sleep it broke..lotsa pus came out...relieved still had fever . This was yesterday.I feel better, still there is a red and swollen area..getting smaller.
Hi there, I am at my end. I had 4 operations. Its comes back ever 3 months after surgery. Last surgery spread to the other side. They also removed it and there is no more lubrication but it still comes back. I cant have any more ops, things dont feel right anymore. What can I do? Please help. Can a sitz bath even work if its so big. There is no head.
@@barbierinah3346 since I am doing IVF, our infertily doctors advised us to get it remove by doing masurpialization, because she said if the IVF will succeed there is a chance that it will get infected and it may affect the baby. So we went to my OB to schedule the said surgery. At first she said no, cause she is not doing an operation to an uninfected bartholin cyst. But when she saw it, she did mention that it was huge and she will do it. We set a schedule for my operation on May 6. Honestly it got huge when I did a hot compress and sitz bath everyday. I think this only applies to an infected bartholin cyst. Sadly, I think the operation is only the resolution for us. :(
I’m 7 months pregnant and my cyst has become an abscess and my Dr says that I need a surgery but not now, after delivery. How can I drain it at home? I’m in so much pain 😢
When I was pregnant they tried to use a needle to remove the cyst material it didn’t work. Try warm baths that helped me but mine was large and in the way so they had to drain it as I was giving birth. I hope your pain stops soon I know how painful they can get. I would do warm compresses until it ruptures that’s the only way to get relief unfortunately best wishes and I hope everything goes well for you.
You can try warm compresses and soaking it, called a Sitz bath. Although the surgery may need to wait until after delivery, it may be able to be drained with a small incision until then. If it is infected you may need antibiotics.

My bartholin cyst doesn't even hurt. But the size is like golf ball. There is no eye. I would like to have an abcess so i could just squeeze it.
