The Quest for Endgame | Uncompromising Mode All Bosses WX-78

- Don’t Starve Together is an uncompromising wilderness survival game full of science and magic. At least... it used to be. With characters growing more powerful and the game getting easier over the years, one might question just how 'uncompromising' the game really is.
This playthrough - along with all other content on this channel, revolves entirely around the 'Uncompromising Mode' mod. The mod is designed with the "Goal of revitalizing the difficulty of Don't Starve Together for long-term veterans of the game," and it does so spectacularly. I will be playing through the entirely of the game through Uncompromising Mode, defeat every single boss, and showcase, highlight, and discuss many of its features.
This is the second 'All Bosses' run of the channel. We will be playing and exploring WX-78 next, as he has recently received one of the largest character rebalances out of all other survivors.

Despite me barely being able to kill fuelweaver or celestial champion, I LOVE uncompromising mode. I'm not good at it by a long shot, but the reworks to things that just weren't working is perfect. I was so happy when I saw they made Crab King not insanely frustrating and tedious.

I've recently discovered your channel and was surprized about the quality of your videos. They might be rough around the edges, but your content is great and I hope to see it get better and better.
I really need to get around to playing uncomp, it reminds me so much of how ROG felt back when I was younger. Also happy you released a new episode on my day off, I’ve said it before but your videos are awesome to unwind with.

About crab king: they removed getting altar without pearl so now its time to suffer with pearl because tons of ice staffs force freezing and high max hp damage, mb i'll try sea plants since crab is even worse than fw sometimes...was so painful as Wanda since she can die from freezing so easily when old
P.S. I want to see cannon fights bcs I don't have any idea how to use cannons in UM tbh...

one of the reason I play so much Uncomp is the Quality of Life the mod adds lol

If in this mod boat patch crafting is the same in this mod you could kill bee in pearls island then make boat patch and complete the last task

every time someone realizes dreadstone armour is useless, my heart gets a little fuller
It’s a sad truth
Dreadstone armor shines when you use the full set IMO, since it cuts the sanity drain by half AND it speeds up the regeneration. What I do is that I use the helmet on it’s own for day-to-day, and use the full set when at base doing base things.
Its useful mostly for Max and Wanda however with sanity food loosing sanity from dread is not a big issue esp when you eat favourite food which fix more sanity instead of hunger in UM...also forgot to mention: tam o shanter and top hat reduce negative aura from dread armor and nightmare armor so its worth it
