Well, I set out to test that theory. With $250 in hand and a top tier by my side, I set out to find just how far I could climb with the help of maxed out items and my buddy, Gengar.

Quite a few people have maxed out a full set of items so it’s not impossible, just takes like 50 hours lol

@@jkahl5596 getting level 30 items isn’t as important. You get the big boosts at level 20s so as long as you can get to that you’re good. I’ve 4 items at level 20+ after 40 hours so.

@@phoenixwhiler943 the game especially now isnt p2w the game will give you 3 level 30 items for reaching levels like 10,12,13 and you get 3 more items to level 30 for a week

I got 16 kills in a game without dying and got mvp without buying anything that gives me an competitive advantage. (I did spend some money on hollowear and my outfit.
Buying hollowear is kind of sad now when you could get some of them for free
Respect your junglers farm they are a integral part of the team

the only way to be pay to win in this game is for characters and items/skins. like zacian, being 15k coins and can the absolutely bullcrap moveset and has only been buff and never got nerf yet

Me as a 10 year old, managed to carry my teammates by coring 200+ points with dragonite with muscle band, score shield and buddy barrier build, and yes I am Asian. And I also play for free. All of the items 20 level. And I have one item with level 30.

the money aspect of pokemon unite is absolutely ruining the game. u shouldn't be able to buy the coins u need for held items with real money ... ur supposed to earn it within the game ...

As a free to play person, I don’t really have a problem with the upgrades, my main and secondaries items are all at max

this is noobest gengar player i have seen in my one and half year of unite playthrough
my average kills are like 15 per game and I haven’t even spend any money. Because deciyueye can steal kills like heck. edit: also no one uses decidueye so they never steal it :D
