I love our older gentleman John.....he's like a very knowledgeable uncle now.......
That woman Miranda her haircut is very nice it's beautiful yet she still dresses feminine and looks feminine took great haircutshe dresses wonderful and feminine the haircut might look a little better if it was longer in a little bit chop you're more like a shag though still look great great haircut Johnny linden was gorgeous Johnny Rotten still looking good..... Greetings from Arkansas USA
Ana Parada Jonny who ?
I knew a 'dirty Dave'...true name was Chandler ??
His blunt intelligence can only be admired...
bearmassaro his blunt intelligence if only a perfect world?
bearmassaro I would never put the words “blunt” and “intelligence” together. “Sharp” is the adjective for me. But, ah, thinking here, perhaps you mean “blunt” as in “honest, saying it like it is”? Well, no matter. Mr Lydon is brilliant!
Excepting that multicultural rubbish and his fucking classism, that is. Lost any vestiges of respect for an otherwise insightful little puff.
This is fun to watch. He gets gradually drunk as the interview goes on and, consequently, he gets funnier. What a great lad. An artist, a legend
I’ve had the pleasure in meeting John, and I can honestly say, he’s an absolute gent.
Assumed I'd rather guessed.
Love him, his own experience is the Pistols to PIL a good example of what stealthin a good men personality and Anger Is An Energy astonishing and me both as he wrote on several levels how to get the msg crystal mate and fix the problem with the references and reality of honesty...
No one in The 100 club 300 copies mine just as important with him as one of method anger in and surrounding thought on his heavily emotional damage he cries still over Sid... at least we have educational assistance into the my loveof vital signs and loathng of Herion this very good if not this small modest meeting Herion?? XXXXX
scatter brained egocentric fuckwit. ...
He's a really likeable person
@Big Rig69 an
Gen. Lee Interested plz continue the story
Id think so but alot of people really dont like him
@Big Rig69 well my question to you is why are you watching this then?
I've come to admire John more for his opinions than his music. The musics great, but what he has to say is better.
100%
Absofuckinlutly! ❤️🏴🤣😁😜
In a way but his music is full of his opinions
He's really lucky to have survived meningitis, many kids don't. I can understand his hatred of liars, if you have a blank mind you need the truth to get better you're so vulnerable.
VERY well said, Michelle...& the mortality rate back then, in the '60s & in his impoverished circumstances, was EVEN WORSE than it is now. I'd not actually thought of his dependence upon the truth, even more than most kids, due to his severe illness & resultant memory loss.
I have aspergers and I hate liars
sean sands I have bursitis and I hate liars.
@@seansands424 Then you must hate John, the king of Narcisstic situationist
@@royalston2324 No I like John
John is so much more approachable and enjoying life these days, really glad to see him finally enjoying his impact on music and able to finally appreciate good qualities in others.. He has very insightful perspectives that deserve a broad audience
When everyone comes to their senses they’ll realize that he’s the best!
I don't agree with all his opinions but I've grown to admire and respect John's honesty and sincerity. The guys's a legend and matured well.
I seriously think he should do stand up and improv like George carlin or bill burr. Even just tellin stories or something, hes great fresh unrehearsed reality tv gold, I'd watch that.
Team up with Hennery Rollins that would be cool
Thats a really good idea
It’s interesting how people who are funny like this are almost always interested in what they consider ‘truth’. I think you have to care about truth if you want to be funny.
Yes!!
John Lydon legend and genius and very clever
never like the sex pistols but omfg john lydon is an amazing person and a clever bloke
Paul Lynch the sort of person i would love to have a pint with lol
Paul Lynch forgot to switch accounts lol
Paul Lynch snap, but loved PIL
Sugar and feathered lmao
@Twisted Fister i will be honest with you im not sure what i liked at that time lol probably to many drugs inbetween thats fried my brains out lol sex pistols never my thing but love the way john lydon s way of thinking
His autobiography is wonderful. John is a national treasure. What a sweetheart.
Love the guy ....ever since I heard him speak in 76
johnny is an amazingly strong bright and interesting soul the world is way more interesting with rather than without his witty charm and he's a legend rip Sidney
Absolute treasure. A kind thoughtful sensitive man. Love his attitude.
Could listen to him all day long
Same!
I named my son after him , one day he will understand why.
Rotten? Nah I getcha and good on you ;)
LYDON,,,,,,COOL NAME
+sennikram. And hopefully he will be every bit as opinionated, forthright & wise as is Mr John Lydon, my friend! He could do FAR, FAR worse than being like him IMO.
John? Quite a popular name! Rotten? Not the best idea
There's only a few artists who put an unconscious smile on my face - either through their wit, honesty or outlook (or all of the above). Lydon is one of them.
I would love to chat with John over a beer. I love listening to him. He seems such a down to earth genuine bloke. Top man John!
I have seen John live on his book tour and he was fantastic, an intelligent and witty man, respect to him
A true original with a proper brain inside his head. May the road rise to meet him...
Love the guy till I die.
I saw John Lydon at the Cheltenham Literature Festival last year and he was the most interesting and captivating speaker i think i've ever seen. Great interview here too :)
Seen him last week in Bangor and he took over the show from the start and the compere was well out of his depth as would anybody belol
I saw the Sex Pistols four times in England ('76 - '77) and their final concert at Winterland in San Francisco ('78). They NEVER failed to be GREAT! Lydon, Jones, and Cook were totally amazing! No real rock and roll band was ever better. Four of the greatest nights of my life!!!!! I'll take those memories to my grave.
John Moeller
Yes I was lucky. Was 13 in '56. Have seen the whole show from start to finish. Too bad it's finished. Maybe you can get a ticket to Taylor Swift!!! Just kidding. Sorry you missed out. Keep on Rockin' til the world ends.
I went to see them but didn't get in at the fforde green on rounday rd in Leeds we (me and my mates) were 14 at the time and it was in a pub and it was in the the west indian area of Leeds called chapletown. And the bouncers wouldn't let us in which was fair enough. So we stood outside and listened it was still fucking brilliant. There was loads of us outside and it was loud as fuck. AND we saw them come out and piss off so for me it was close enough.
@@christopherdale8201 Quality story, Chris! Rapt to read that your Uncle kicked that awful habit (I'm also an Aussie & have/had a sister who has been FUCKED on the gear for 25 years now - God only knows how she's still alive, if you call that living) & I am 100% convinced that it wasn't Sid - but either Nancy herself, thieves or organised crime - who killed Nancy. Cheers from the Mornington Peninsula on yet another 40 degree day, mate!
@@christopherdale8201 cool story. There is no way Sid did that. But because of who he was it was just assumed
@redlightflash I too reject the possibility that someone can have more money than me and as result of the mentioned money, use it to travel, not going to sell me on that
I love Mr.Lydon.
We are London, We are England - love it!
Oh yes,so I
@@danielaschwarz1971 London forever 👊💖
@@kevinn5976 Yeah💖😊👍💫🎸💖
Absolutely fantastic book. A man of incredible courage and integrity...who is also funny as he'll, oh, and brilliant.
incredible interview with a fantastic guy, everything John had to say was spot on
As a person who has suffered from childhood cancer I can definitely agree with what he said about finding out who you are. Everyone has always done everything for me. Now I'm becoming a man and nobody helps me now. But I'm glad I never had a normal childhood or I wouldn't have woken up.
I can't help smiling at John Lydon, his youthful energy remains undimmed.
Wonderful interview!
Loved this one, thanks for the up.
I could Listen to John till I’m old and weary i jus love him
Best John interview I have ever seen.
Saw him live in the 70's he was astonishing.
One of my hero's..love john
Great genuine man, listen to him for hours .
I love this guy! He is so smart!
thanks jonny, you taught me well
We don't have working class heroes like john lydon today.
It's great to see him finally enjoying a bit of his success. His stories are essential lessons.
Looks pretty alive to me IDK
Working class?? The man is a narcissistic asshole.
no we don't
I think many people do not realise how rich he is...he is always going on about how poor he is, how PIL can't afford to make a record, PIL are in debt to the record company and so on..it's just lies....he lives a very very comfortable life with Nora Forster..they don't have to worry about the rent
I could listen to John talk all day long 👌👌👌
Great interview! Cheers,& peers, not fears, or sneers!
This is great. I love him.
It's impossible not to like John. He's such a breath of fresh air.
Awesome; thanks, Johnny. Nice interviewer, too.
I love John Lydon! I bought the book and it's awesome!! Thank you for posting.
He's brilliant & very funny... ty, Johnny 4 being "u"... love u
So bright; such an entertainer who has earned his position as an icon. Hilarious reading the negative comments too.
True living legend right there.
Well done QA! Brilliant :) Watched the clips before and so happy that the full interview is here. :)
I love this guy so much. What beauty he exudes. So full of love and care. Always so honest.
Could listen to him all night, when you really listen to John there is so much truth in what he says.
I could listen to this man takk 25/8 just such a great storyteller and it’s all HIS truth
He made the music, but has become more than the music.
What a loverly gentleman he is! I thoroughly enjoyed watching him interact with his audience. xxxxxx
Would of loved to been there. John is such a personality, best british legend? hope to be able to meet him one day in person!
After seeing him doing an interview on a chat show about John when he was asked about his meningitis, the effect that it had on his memory and it resonated with me. I had autoimmune encephalitis 8 or 9 years ago which affects the brain and the memory in a similar way so I could relate to what he said about trying to regain his memories. It’s not bloody easy and has profound effects on all ways of life, I’m going to have to find his book (it’s amongst my other books) and read it again.
i think this is probably the best interview hes ever done.. and it seemed he really enjoyed it as well ..really relaxed with it all and as always funny with it 😂
Love him!
Great interview and yeah the host was very gracious and had a good sense of humor .. Thanks !
Brutally honest, and usually right. His emotion over Sid is still very evident and touching.
brilliant , thanks
Against all odds, he's added to humanity as a whole and made us feel status quo doesn't define who we are. Brave, bold, intellectual and quite humorous.
What a superb Q& A ....
I love Mr. Lyndon...could listen to him all day! So intelligent, hilariously funny, and brutally honest...without negating his essential kind and decent nature. 💙
This is a great interview.
absolute legend
John always is himself and tells it as it is.
all ways good tae see Mr lydon
Good stuff. I've always liked John. And I've always thought Miranda Sawyer is rather lovely and good at what she does too.
I like this man very much X X
here is a genuin bloke that i would trust with my life he speaks it as it is there should be more british people like him the only thing is i am a jazz lover but nobody is perfect cheers john
Nice hearing he is growing.
He is pretty cool guy, liked listing to him and it was interesting and funny .
His words about Sid touched me, he never stood a chance. As a kid I had a terrible home life, none of my mates would come round instead I would go to them and be fed. My mate Nicks Mum and Dad probably saved me with the kindness just a shame Sid didn’t have a Robin and Rosemary to give him a feed and some love.
Christ that Alvin Stardust impression was golden aha. God bless you John!
love johnny!
Great interview :)
an intelligent man is our John
The man talks sense ... never mind the bollcks of today
my hero
Love listening to John he doesn't talk bullshit and he is very interesting to listen to.And he's a lefty like me Top man 🤟
JOHNNY IS SO DELIGHTFUL. HE'S CHARMING AND VERY INTELLIGENT. HE'S WORKED SO HARD AND HE'S NEVER COMPROMISED HIMSELF OR HIS MUSIC FOR ANYONE OR ANYTHING. EXTREMELY ADMIRABLE. ❤ LOVE JOHNNY. HE'S ENDURED SO MUCH HEART ACHE AND LOSS IN HIS LIFE AND HE KEEPS ON GOING, ❤. 💔😢.
Her giggles are adorable.
So much charisma
This guy is absolutely brilliant, along with the woman interviewing him
Love listening to him. H e is a great story teller. His bus tour around London is fucking hilarious. His books are almost painful to read when find out the shit he went through as lad.
I find anything with john intoxicating. He is funny, grounded, talented and so flawed. Top person. Married for decades to a German. You couldnt make it up. He needs to be knighted asap. He's a punk and a conservative - loves the Queen
Love him love him 💕💕💕💕💕
good interview
Love Claude's tattoo!! 😍
Epic Q&A
Amazing.
This is how you do an interview with John. Just treat him like a person
Magnificent Human Being.
One day John, one day 👍
He is stunning. Period.
Infinitely entertaining.
Gotta love him 😇
