And always in mind speak in English with yourself. We are thinking something always right? Do that in English. Talk to yourself. Your confidence level will increase

Following are the few things which I've done when I was in 10th standard to improve my speaking & listening skills in English..
1.watched English news,movies & debates
2.Read newspaper daily.
3. Third one is li'll bit funny but that really helped me build up confidence in presenting presentations in front of the people (Talked to myself in front of the mirror in a closed room(Soliloquizing) )
4. I spoke about 20 minutes straight on any topic in English that came to my mind.
5.Read dictionary daily it's not that essential much but if you do read everyday then it might be beneficial for you while interacting with foreigners 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

to all my desi people , I was English medium student but never talked in English in whole school life.i learned to speak English by watching English movies both British English and American English movies. and now I can talk to American people like they talk. it took me years of watching movies.that was the way I learned and I enjoyed the learning process.

dtmitta In old time British English, the language was such that people would address each other indirectly eg Pardon me miss for the sin committed by me owing to my inhospitable circumstances ( instead of saying I am sorry for what I did due to poor situations)😊😊 it is super tricky to understand it.. Try reading Agatha Cristie and u too would feel the same effect... English will improve like anything... Reader's Digest is also good for superb vocabulary...

I always wanted to get command on English but with time I've learned that it's not necessary to speak English brilliantly, the only thing i need to learn is to take off this pressure from my shoulders that i have to speak English brilliantly because it doesn't matter. First thing English is my secondary language and second thing is that I'm allowed to make mistakes because any language is just a medium to convey your message and as far as others getting my point and I'm making my point effortlessly my work has been done.

I also used the same ideology before I watched this episode. However, I feel one more add-on is read newspaper aloud everyday that is quiet a practice because you add vocabulary as well as improve fluency. NOTE: Read newspaper that have spicy news in them, because that will generate interest and you will like reading them daily!

I speak in front of the mirror to improve my English and try to speak English fluently.
