Back to basics! I've been working on some more challenging and wacky solos recently, but tilted a bit and booted up a mining with a fairly strong build to relax. The first swarm ended up being quite sketchy because I utterly misjudged wave timers, but the rest of the run was fairly controlled. It's a little silly that Feedback Loop does in 100 ammo what Breach Cutter can do in 2 shots, but it feels much more satisfying. Thanks to @SpaceMartino for the thumbnail!

Man resupplies in solo give so much ammo , it feels like u can have full damage builds and be fine. I had a heart attack when i saw 90 ammo warthog
I personally run pellets even outside of solo, preferring to save ammo by utilizing turret whip and my secondary, and I rarely have issues

Curious as to why you ignored the first brood nexus, was it not worth the ammo/time?
Exactly that: in solo runs (and 6x2+ games in general), the burst of swarmers nexuses spawn and the ammo/time loss from killing them tends to be more threatening than the negligible, if annoying, trickle of swarmers. Brood nexuses can often be actively helpful; for example, at 6:17 in this run I use one as impromptu cover versus a trijaw swarm.

Why didn't you pick t5b for feedback loop ? It seems like a natural choice for this build
t5b has dramatically lower stopping power than t5c, meaning you end up very vulnerable while your shard is ramping up

In two words, how would you balance breach cutter/other secondaries to make competition more fair?

do you perfer VIR or Feedback?
I think VIR is significantly better in team play, since feedback loop has ungodly terrible ammo economy. However, for solo, the sheer output of feedback loop is worth sacrificing a couple resupplies, which aren't hard to come by.

should be, just don't use the h6 mod - custom difficulty is the one you want
