Enjoy! - Hudba
I’m extremely sad that Chon is indefinitely on hiatus. They’re one of my favorite bands, and the fact that they may never play together again is devastating.
Huh
@@TheMessage25 yeah they've been on a hiatus for almost 4 years now
@@wiryyadhika1595 you know exactly why?. Their last album was really good. I like the dark vibe it had
@@TheMessage25 idk really much but i think it has to do with their music label? Idk and yeah and also they said they needed some rest, physically and mentally so yeah
theyll be back @@TheMessage25

WasderNoob im pretty sure the intro is just something they do at shows
@@mizuree oh that would make sense, ill just change it to intro lol. thanks dude
the intro is actually an unrealeased song that's going to be released in they're next album
Edit : I was lucky enough to go see them twice and that's what they said before playing the unreleased song
i always come back to this set and fuji rock 2019. i miss chon. P.S. I wish the "intro" in this video ever came out.
Never heard of these guys until that set and man it was fun
than you missed a looot! look for plini and polyphia if you dont know them!
I envy you. That must have been amazing.
I miss them. So much
I'm going to try and keep this short....just saw them Co-headline with Between The Buried And Me at the Orange Peel in Asheville, NC, (Intervals opened, who were awesome)....well, I'm not sure if it was Co-Headlining throughout the tour, but they did end the show and these guys stole the friggin' show!! There were def. Chon fans there that knew the songs / chanting parts at the end of show, which was a welcomed sight, since I presumed at least 75% of the crowd was there for BTBAM, but I could be wrong. On my way to see TOOL in Raleigh, NC, 10 days prior, while driving, I had my friend play a couple Chon songs. After roughly 90 seconds, I said, "I've heard enough". In a good way!! That's all I needed. So fast forward, Tool, amazing, of course, then Rodrigo y Gabriela that Tues. Night in Asheville, also amazing. Then Intervals / BTBAM / Chon on Thurs. My friends and I were very happy after Intervals and BTBAM....but then CHON....it only took a matter of minutes, if not seconds, EVERYONE was buzzing, hair standing on our arms (literally), they sounded "album quality", flawless, crisp and clean. "Steve Vai - esque" fingers stretching across fret board solos simultaneously by both guitar players. Not just one song, all set, mind blowing, as well as the bass / drums. This band will catapult to popularity in the various musical circles, whether it be Prog Metal / Instrumental / Rock or the more Dance / Jam - ish Prog sub genre's with bands like TAUK / Dopapod. Glad I got to "bump into", I believe Mario, walking down the side walk moments after the show. It was nice to talk to you. As I said, "Please come back to this venue, and this city".... You've got a good home in Asheville....we will not forget you guys.
Thanks for sharing! I get goosebumps every show from the moment they start playing. Perfect description for such an incredible band. Hearing their album is awesome but seeing them live is a real treat. I'll always cherish those experiences.
They were so loose in the best way. They subtly jammed on like all the songs. Fall is a great example. Also Erick at the end of story
Right?! Like Mario’s little jam at 26:43 is so sixk
The KNOT version was amazing
Damn Erick's voice sounds deep as hell lol, sick performance!
hes not even the original singer of the song
Man these guys seem so clean live, can’t believe I’ve never seen them myself
this is actually unusually sloppy for them lol. when i saw then live they literally didn't mess up a single note
Joe Johnson while I agree that relative to themselves, this is on the sloppier side of Chon.. the fact we would even call this type of performance sloppy proves how great they are! I’ve watched virtually every live vid and they are just so good. I’ve been to hundreds of shows and never Chon I’m so jealous of you friend!
Love all!!
In awe with the set
great great band and video !!!
i like how it went pitch park during the pitch dark song
I watch this everyday.
I can remember every riff. So good.
yesss love hearing them play there usic more jam flow. its such a good fit for them
One of the best shows in my life thank you CHON
I am so fucking ready to see these guys at more jam fests.
These guys are on a whole other level!
Glad to see CHON at a fest. Thanks for the vid
So good to see Chon at a jam fest. Thanks MK!
The real MVP
Sick upload bruh
WOOOOOWWWWW
This is the best set I've ever seen
man, sound quality is more than enough! cool!
love this band! saw then live NYC in 2019 before this was out i think.
it is great for you to record this live!!
This is the most brilliant set of all time.
You guys are so good. Please tour again soon. The last CHON show I was at was one of the best shows I'd ever seen. Completely Draw Jopping. I need more CHON.
holy shit 21 songs
That's probably their best set ever!
I'm a huge fan of instrumental bands - so this being my first Chon viewing - I'm very happy! Great set capture bud!
Booked my tickets to go and see them at Gorilla Manchester UK next April. Can't fudging wait :)
Corona happened :(
New to this band but I absolutely love their sound. Very original phrasing and chord shapes, and every album I can hear the progression. Trying to get into Polyphia as well but I'm having a hard time
Agreed. Far less musical
Some very cool stuff, but altogether you don’t get the satisfaction you feel you should
Chon has the riffs, the groove, and the mood. Great stuff
@@AAllinsonNNtrue true. I like them, but its not the same. pretty repetitive too
Agree about Polyphia, but they're at the height of their "rocket" right now, so their fans tend to be VERY protective. This band, on the other hand, makes everything fresh when you hear them, so much more of a joy to listen to, as opposed to the same guitar patterns over and over in Polyphia.
Mario Pinch Harmonics Camarena
Jon Snow is killing it on the drums!!
This is the tightest I've heard them in a long time. Their tone has come a long way too.
lol they're unusually sloppy here. in fact i don't think ive seen a live video where they mess up more than this. When I saw them live and they played perfectly.
@@cjh-bk4pn i saw them here, it was awesome. its a jam fest, they were jamming. can't get away with it at shows where people want an exact album copy in front of them
potion + puddle
eto nakikinig sa chon
34:30 lmao
chon moment
Love these guys, but Erick is always Low on volume when I hear them live :(
Soooooo true. Either he’s self conscious or they need a better mixer lol
album quality
i went to sru then. how the heck did i not know about this?!
so sad Erick's side isn't as loud. otherwise it might've been the best filmed performance I've found :( :*
for instance, he nailed that No Signal solo but OF COURSE THE VOLUME lol
exact same on the perfect pillow solo but same problem rip
That’s a problem I notice with a lot of their live stuff. The volume is always out wack and songs sound like they’re missing parts because of it.
you talking about that like we can even hear the bass fr
@@palooski227 I suggest listening with some good headphones or speakers. You can actually hear the bass surprisingly well.
I still miss Drew
Need that intro song !!
22:53 your welcome perro
Nooo why are ads playing in the middle of songsss i fking hate youtube
These boys will be the first in history to die from arthritis.
my favorite band ever! check out my cover of one of their songs (hardest song ive ever covered to date!):
czcams.com/video/vZHeZLVaTPU/video.html
I miss the boys
oshit 'Book' with matt gartska version! love it!
well kinda
why is esiah not in the description
This seems to have been fixed. I love Waterslide, and sadly the audio mixing here doesn't showcase how awesome Esiah sounds on that song here.
58:22
Is Mario using an AC30? Never seen him without his trusty Matchless Lighting...
yeah i thought that was odd, maybe he was having problems with the matchless that night and used the ac30 as a backup?
He actually used an AC30 on both Audiotree sessions. And I've seen Erick use a custom one too on an old (circa 2014) gig. In that one Mario used a Fender amp which is a bit odd too.
erik so low
mk devo at a chon show? sheeeeeeeesh
also these dudes need to jam with Umphrey's
Any reason why they didn't play Fluffy?
yo actually what is that intro ??
facts
let me know if u find out
it's not a released song, it's just a thing they play on sets
is it just me or No signal sounded weak (?)
they had low signal
Very bad audio engeneering !
I've heard worse, but yeah it's not great. Really hard to hear Esiah in that mix, he's pretty well drowned out by Nate's overheads. And I'm listening on studio monitors :/
the volume control is dog shit mannn :( i can barely here erik
They are great musicians and I love their music, but the singing is not good...
That's why they are an instrumental band XD
Вокал был лишним :)
eric out of tune so bad.
OLarrea77 im pretty sure it’s his compression pedal ...
@@mizuree he means on vocals
xd
well he was never supposed to sing in the first place lol
drum mix is atrocious
Very good and talented band. But... that last song with the vocals... wtf. Please, DON'T SING! But if must do vocal stuff (which will never give you commercial success because of your style of music) get a real singer. Sorry, that was sung in the key of Huh?
a different singer did it on album version but wasnt there for tour. its a great tune if you listen to the studio version. but yea that was rough hahah
yea.. if they play it like at the end anyway, they should've guess vocal for it
Critics know it all
@@4WOF the original singer left
