I know this is late but they are props made by a program called Fire ground Survival which is run through the IAFF. You can buy several metal props but they aren't cheap. If you want I can try to find the construction plans to make these out of wood. Usually when the instructor program is being hosted the host department will buy the props.
I would say if you are trying to escape using a charged hoseline and you find the nozzle, take that bad boy with you. It can only help
