Im from Daytona Beach & this was filmed there. The pictures of the beach is what it was like, especially Spring Break. It was the MTV era in the
80´s & 90’s! Too many crazy times. It’s sad that the beach & Daytona in general look nothing like this any longer.

I was born in 84, so my memories of the 80s are probably what yours are of the 90s. That is to say, through the eyes of a child. I remember the toys and cartoons of the 80s. That also means that I grew up in the 90s, specifically ages 6-16, which are pretty important years when you're growing up. As a result, I have deep nostalgic love for the 90s and think it was the best decade.

Canada produced a lot of great music alone in the late 90s/early 2000s. It wasn’t all teen pop. Very little of it was, actually. Amanda Marshall was the unsung hero of the late 90s in Canada. Let It Rain, Birmingham, I Believe In You and If I Didn’t Have You are certified soul/rock power bangers. She’s biracial from Ontario and just made a comeback recently. Pick one of her live performances from the 90s. You won’t regret it.

Gen X here. I was in my late teens and early 20's in the 90's. We were the last generation to not be plugged in. I know there are experiences that are unique to millennials and Gen Z, but there was something to be said for laying on each other in a pile on the lawn of someone's house and laughing. We were raised with knowledge of the horrors of the world in clear focus, and no answer in sight... so we had to make our own. We collectively vowed to raise children in a completely different way than our parents did. The generations after us have hope, education, compassion, and skill. I hope we did alright.

Len's "Steal My Sunshine" was the only single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 from this Canadian group, peaking @ #9 in 1999. The song was featured in the movie "Go" directed by Doug Liman starring an ensemble of young actors featuring Katie Holmes, Sarah Polley & Timothy Olyphant. The "Steal My Sunshine" musical hooks are sampled from the 1976 disco/pop crossover hit by Andrea True Connection "More, More, More" ( Hot 100 = #4/ Disco = #2; R&B = #23).

Hey, that's be a good reaction movie for the RSR Movie channel. Very 90's movie, but AMAZING soundtrack. The director (Doug Liman) first made 'Swingers' with Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau in 1996. He then was able to get support to make Go (1999) Liman was also the film's cinematographer! Liman next directed 2002's 'The Bourne Identity' starring Matt Damon. Liman also directed Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. His next project was based on science fiction novel. "Jumper" was released in 2008 (a underrated film in my opinion and one of Hayden Christiansen's last Hollywood projects). His 2010 movie "Fair Game" even competed for the Palme d'Or at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.
Then we come to what I think is his best yet...in 2014, Liman directed the film adaptation of the Hiroshi Sakurazaka novel, 'All You Need is Kill', starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, released as Edge of Tomorrow (2014). That's another AMAZING movie that you both should react to. It will stretch your brain, trying to connect the plot points, it's got great action and acting from Cruise and Blunt. He worked again with Cruise in 2017 on "American Made". He's had quite a career so far and I bet there's more to come!
