"After the Flowers Pass: Works by Amir Khadar" Gallery Walkthrough

Amir Khadar is a multidisciplinary artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota who bridges the gap between fantasy and reality in otherworldly creations. In “After the Flowers Pass,” Khadar uses textiles and mixed-media to construct a post-apocalyptic world that reimages hierarchies in today's society. In this exhibition, Khadar analyzes colonial relationships between people and the environment.
This exhibition takes place at Philadelphia's Magic Gardens and will be on view from July 19, 2024 - September 15, 2024.
