For a one-off cup game, Accies would want to make as much money as they could with the gate being split 50/50 and knowing chances are they'd get beat.
Also, the university in the town is not the big reason why their attendances are so low. They've never had a big support, and that's always been the case even before you were born. The reason why they're so low is because of relegation and small away supports.

Hamilton are one of those fan bases I think almost all fans outside the OF really respect. Would have been all too easy to go to Celtic or Rangers but they stuck with their local team.

There should be a separate league for those clubs that play on plastic and Cup games should be played in neutral grounds. Football is a grass sport not plastic!
