I have 6 Years of experience as a credit officer (Loans against Property and MSME loans). Presently working at one of India's finest PSU banks. Have done JAIIB and CAIIB certification from IIBF. Then Banking Codes and Standards Certification, MSME certification and Cyber Security Certification all from IIBF. If I do FRM course what's the minimum package I can expect taking into account the 6 years of lending experience which involves risk assessment and risk management and the certifications I have done?
Assigning a salary package that one may be able to draw post completing a certification would be naive. However, once you have completed the FRM Program, multiple opportunities in the banking risk space open up including credit which otherwise may have not been there. For existing bankers the program significantly enhances possibility of lateral movement especially in risk and analytics
