LT has been receiving EI since February 2013, around the same time he was diagnosed with ASD. Since then, I decided to split my hours at work with facilitating his therapy. As any mom with a child on the spectrum I do the best I can to emulate the therapist's techniques, hoping to provide the same behavioral expectations throughout the day. I've been in a big disagreement with our school district, so unfortunately LT has had a gap of services from the time EI ended in October. Like so many, our insurance does not cover Behavioral Therapy, so I've had to provide our own "therapy" at home. Aside from his private speech and OT, this forces us to make sure the skills he's learned in EI stay fresh and he is somewhat prepared for preschool. It's tough to maintain a consistent schedule that only a full day of school could offer, so since this is lacking in his routine LT's compliance to a lot of our therapies is difficult to control.
Things I work on with LT:
    - Maintaining Focus and Attention, enjoying looking through and understanding books, matching, identifying objects, animals, letters, & numbers, gross motor imitation, fine motor skills, and appropriate play.
