Aren't the bone sections of fossils quite fragile? It sounds really risky to to use them as part of the display model. If they use mostly replicas to make it, why bother using the real fossil at all. Instead, they could buy the rights, leae the fossil with researchers. Any replicas, or presentation are only authorized by the buyers. And once the fossil has been fully documented, it could go to the buyer. I would think for such valuable items, I"d want it kept in a place that knew how to take care of it.
