That bag work is a true work of art to anyone who has ever trained in boxing and knows what their doing. You see so many amateurs in the gym just throwing heavy punches with no footwork or distance and tiring themselves out after a minute. Loma throws perfect punches, not to much power but still heavy, no wind ups, perfect technique. When he throws body shots you can see him visualizing the liver by the way he digs with a perfect hook angle to the bag. Constant footwork and leans on the bag practicing fighting in the pocket. A true work of art to any boxing connoisseur.
Could have just left out the word black and made the exact same point, but you had to bring up race.
I started filming myself on the bag and I look nothing like him. Can you give me some tips on what to do on the heavy bag, it'd hard for me to make everything smooth.
A suggestion for the next time you do such a vid, can you take footage of the whole body from head to toe. It would help a lot for those who want to study his execution on technique

I guess some people think boxing is all about hands since you only punch. I would argue boxing is more about your lower body; your footwork, balance, and base gives you your position to attack/defend. Always being in a position to attack or defend gives you the advantage over your opponent. Your punches also come from your legs, as well as your slips and weaves. It's not even a stretch to say boxing is ALL about legs. My legs were more sore from boxing than from kickboxing.

Yea, and the quality in this video is super high quality haha, so it just almost seem wasteful.
If you viewed the other reporter's vids you could see this videographer was using a more advance piece off equipment than just a phone.

He is a 10-1 fighter who is about to fight a guy two weight classes smaller. The problem is not haters the problem is the Great White Hope effect.
Rigo being two divisions lower and older are facts though. Loma's victories over Russell and Walters were legit, and I consider Loma the best fighter pound-for-pound. Rigo being smaller may just be a handicap for him though, it's just how it is. I still think this fight is close, it's a great fight to end the year, and I can't wait. The winner will deserve full credit.
The one thing that doesn't make sense to me is the same people complaining he's too small were yapping that Loma needs to stop ducking Rigo and now that it's happening they've changed their tune. It's clear they have an agenda

The only negative thing about this video is the constant zooming in and out. I want to see every body movement from footwork, to leg/hip movement, head movement etc the video crops out a lot of the footwork which is a shame since Loma is a great boxer to study

The buildup for this fight has been pathetic. On paper, this is one of the best matches ever...but no face offs, no press conferences with the fighters together, no "embedded" like footage of their workouts and lives. Why? Because this is a free fight on ESPN. This is the promoters of the sport f**king us, the fans. We deserve better than this.

Haney(calling him out at 20yrs old- he won't take the fight/doesn't want to get embarrassed), Mickey, Pacman(walks around his size), Davis, Teo, etc. Linares was the only one his size I can remember, that had some skills.
