I own the motorized AT-AT and it just astounds me that it’s shot up in value so much. I just bought it for my son for Christmas in 2007 and once it was built we just took it apart and put it in a bin. It wasn’t until I started seeing the value of some of these sets that I realized I had something that was so collectible.

oh hey i know what that mystery mini set is! it was either a lego club exclusive series or a separate subscription box you could sign up for (possibly as a toys r us exclusive deal) and get a pair of the mini sets every month. i remember missing out on it and then getting the cool display of the whole set which a local store was just throwing out. with how expensive lego sets are they should really make more like that. $60 is fair but you could sell it for $80 easily imo.

I remember I signed up for a Lego club, my friend signed up before me and was getting cool buildable Lego bits here and there. But when I started getting my first few packages they stated they won’t give out actual lego anymore. Which was the only reason I signed up for it. Big bummer.

The T-16 Skyhopper was NOT just a toy Luke played with. In the scene where he first sees the holographic message, to the left side of the screen you can see the rear of Luke's "actual" T-16 through a doorway.

This guys prices are ridiculous. Motorized AT-AT? < $500 on BL. Ghost? $410 on BL. He says Zeb fig is $150? Try $45 on BL. Also, he claimed the tan 1x1 clip plate was unique to the Sith Infiltrator set? Nope, it comes in many sets and can be easily found for about a quarter. Where is he getting this info?

my favorite set, which i am surprised wasn't on here, was this black bucket shaped like a lego brick, with a handle to carry it with, that held Star Wars themed lego bricks, filled to the brim. it wasn't the pod racer version, that you still see around on ebay. it was an original Trilogy version, possibly an Anniversary Edition that Ben Kenobi, Jedi Luke Darth Vader, Han Solo, etc. it had a ton of characters, and was so much fun just to look at. it filled in missing pieces from others star wars sets.

I recently helped my parents clean out my bedroom and came across all my childhood sets. I always knew where my Jango Fett’s Slave 1 was because I displayed it in my Star Wars cabinet in my room, but I totally forgot about my UCS N-1 Starfighter, OG Millenium Falcon/Imperial Shuttle/AT-AT/Jedi Starfighter/Flash Speeder+ many more sets all still mostly intact..not to mention the many from 99-06 that I have that are broken up. And I kept most of the booklets as well in case they every broke during storage or moving. Never did I think sets like these would appreciate in value so much. I just found out that a complete Jango Fett’s Slave 1 with figures and manual go for $500+ and the UCS N-1 Starfighter goes for $300+. The balaclava Jango Fett mini fig goes for $200+ alone…crazy…My parents got me all of these sets when I was growing up and I’m years out of college now and working. Hopefully they continue to hold their value. Would love to introduce both LEGO and Star Wars to my future kids one day.
