House back then was never about lots of money for the creators or the DJs. Only some promoters really got a lot of money (some - A LOT). They had tricky jobs though, as it was a real gamble and often about whether they got thrown in prison and how long for. I think there were very few convictions.

They changed the frequency of the music after the rave scene in the music biz because they don't want people feeling that love and happiness anymore plus it brought unity, if that happens they have no control over us then, it almost brought the world together.

all these plugins emulate high end studio gear like SSL, Manley, Fairchild etc that were used in super expensive studios back then to mix the likes of Phil Collins and Cliff Richard for radio 1 friendly mixes. It’s comical to listen to modern “producer” CZcams vids micro-obsessing over how the resonant HZ of the kick is clashing with the bass and how equivalent of £20K in hardware (as plugins) is needed to ‘fix’ it 🤦♂️
That's true. The difficult part is creating few musical riffs or parts that will work effectively yet sound simple. It's not easy creating simple hooks that work together great
