    can u tell which one should I go for ASUS ROG Strix G15 G512 i7 RTX2060 (super) or ASUS TUF A15 ryzen9 RTX 2060? It would be a great help.

    • @MakaiTechReviews
      @MakaiTechReviews  Před 3 lety +3

      Depends what you want to do with it. TUF is way cheaper than the G15. ROG series comes a better cooling solution, better overall build quality and the option to run RAID 0 (3 NVMe drive slots). TUF series are still a good purchase imho, but it has no liquid metal CPU cooling paste, and has less heatpipes for better cooling performance. G15 has also better screen quality as well. Don't get me wrong here. TUF Gaming is still a decent machine. If you play/browsing and so on, TUF is still a capable machine to do such things. It's just "less premium".

    Great Video, I have a question, Recently my adapter has been playing up My laptop says it is 'Plugged in' but the percentage is going down. Should I get a new adapter and if so should I get the same one or should I replace the battery?

    • @MakaiTechReviews
      @MakaiTechReviews  Před 2 lety

      Is this happen when the laptop is already full? If that is the case, it is normal, and don't let the battery overcharge, or overheat, it is a safety feature. But if the battery is constantly (below 85%) no matter if it is plugged in this can be several issues. 1. charge regulator in the battery or 2. the charger got degraded over time (highly unlikely). My best guess is you are playing in a hot environment, a high-demand program running during charging and the device (also the battery) gets very hot and the battery safety feature kick in.

    • @DavidWilliamss
      @DavidWilliamss Před 2 lety +1

      @@MakaiTechReviews It's the same laptop as the one in this video so realistically it should be able to have the adapter in the laptop when I'm gaming constantly. • @MakaiTechReviews
      @MakaiTechReviews  Před 2 lety +1

      @@DavidWilliamss You can also maybe clean the contacts (if not did yet) Use isopropyl alcohol to clean the contact. If you are lucky it is only dirt inside the connector. If you are unlucky, might be the DC plug in the laptop got loose and need to resolder back to the motherboard. (dont think thats the case, cause as you mentioned sometimes it is still charging, so most likely only dirt)
