Sasuke summoning manda, alone when he stated he was close to out of chakra, was implausible, but the fact that he also reverse summoned the both of them since suigetsu had to summon manda and you can only do so from their realm, is flat out impossible. That was the truest of true plot armor

Attacking the five Kage is actually doubly silly because after losing to Bee repeatedly, Sasuke is like "Imma take on the guy whose job is to KEEP BEE RESTRAINED... PLUS FRIENDS"
his original plan was just to attack Danzo after the summit ended, he never intended to fight the other kage. That only happened because Zetsu told the kage about Sasuke

Even though the village was destroyed, no body said that the OTHER village elders were killed, and they were also his targets. Why wouldn't he just attack them FIRST, and then make the longer trip to find Danzo? It's just kinda weird.

My thing with Sasuke is how they just boost his power when need be with little to no explanation. He gets as fast as rock Lee in like a month, he gets put in the coffin in the sasuke retrieval arc just so he can reasonably compete with Naruto, his string of fights in shippuden is a mess because he barely wins or loses then runs right to next person somehow stronger like he’s a saiyan. At least we see Naruto train between encounters so it doesn’t feel contrived that he’s stronger. Sasuke he’s sharingan just evolves and he’s just ready to go despite never using the new ability before. Then to me I just find him the least interesting part of his own storylines he’s carried by Itachi, Orochimaru, Obito, and Naruto. The best part about him is his fight scenes.
It's literally explained since the beginning that he's a naturally talented Uchiha. Hell he's not even the most talented one, his big bro saw the fire style being used once and perfectly emulated it when he was 5, Sasuke is still low level compared to the high-tier talents.

Naruto didn’t train for anything other than sage mode. We see naruto training because he’s, unfortunately, the main character of this anime. Sasuke was kept out of the manga for a prolonged period of time anyway.
@@slayed9602 Naruto trained for both the rasengan and the rasenshuriken. He also trained an entire day trying to master the multi shadow clone jutsu. Where have you been my guy? Dude also trained with Jiraiya to unlock more of the Nine Tails transformation. Trained to defeat his own evil side at the waterfall and even fought the ninetails just to get him to be a friend. All of these are training moments.

@@numberhunter62 I guess we are splitting hares on when he wanted the smoke. I would say it is when he let himself be known to all the Samurai. He could have tried to keep it stealth until Karin zeroed in on Danzo, but he chose to start killing people.
But when do you think he decided he wanted the smoke? When he fought the samurai, the Raikage, when he appeared in the middle of a room of kage's, or after all the kage's handed him his ass? He had options in each one of those moments, but he kept his head in that pit sucking up all the smoke.
Also if someone breaks into a facility and tells the security guards that if they come at him, he'll kill them .... to me seems like a call to action and bringing unnecessary attention to yourself i.e. wanting the smoke.
Sasuke is easily my favorite anime character yet i still enjoyed this video. I COMPLETELY understand how your conflicting personalities make you not like him. fair

I actually liked the way Sasuke's character grew, he was constantly being manipulated by people; Itachi, Obito, orochimaru. He did a 180 cause he realized he basically contributed to killing his brother who was just trying to protect him. He had every right to go after Danzo and I was right there cheering Sasuke on cause I subscribe to the quote "fuck Danzo". Someone needed to kill Danzo for what he did to Itachi, Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko. Everything after was because of Obitos influence on him, Obito liked edging Sasuke on with dirty dark secrets of the leaf... And after all the shit Sasuke did to his village, his friends and allies I dont blame him for putting a punishment on himself cause even Sasuke agrees that he shouldn't just go free from what he did

Minato came back from beyond the veil to reseal Kuruma, tell Naruto about Obito, AND give him full sage mode. If that ain't MC plot armor I don't know what is. At least Sasuke had a stacked team he hand picked to keep him from situations exactly like the Killer Bee fight. At least Sasuke knew them beforehand and none of them were confirmed dead for 15 years

I used to despise Sasuke as well. But over time I realized how real his character is. All the plot armor bullshit aside. He’s a really nuanced and complicated character. He changes his ideologies much like a lot of people do in real life. We see him grow as a character. Not just in power. Naruto’s character development seemed kind of linear. As for sasuke he goes through twists and turns. I could go on about why I think sasuke is actually a decent character. But that’s what’s cool about naruto. So many characters and opinions on each one. I think they’re all valid.
Naruto usually had to face people that once followed the same path, but fell off. As long as Naruto was doing the right thing, he was always able to change the person in their last moments.
The one person that didnt work with was Sasuke, because Naruto wanted him back for selfish reasons, instead of pure good.
Sasuke was motivated only by power, and took every offering to gain power, except refused to kill Naruto to awaken the Mangekyo. That is why he almost always failed. The only real success he gets is from helping others without a selfish and warped reason.
That theme plays throughout the entire story.

That’s the exact problem with his character. He’s not complicated he’s a plot device. People change but they don’t just flip flop like he does. He literally goes from “I hate my brother and my life goal is to kill him” to “I love my brother so much I’m gonna become a terrorist for him” to “I wanna become the president”. He did both of those in a day.
I really appreciate that the reasons for why you don't like Sasuke isn't just because he wanted revenge and he was angry.
If someone hates Sasuke because he wanted revenge. After is bother killed is filmily and tribe. Then that shows a lack of understanding.

@@PiggTheKidd Not even. People just assume he ran out of chakra. Overlooking he said he was tired from shocking himself with Chidori. And how he absorbed Orochimaru to acquire his power which he used for snakes, and Oro would come out as he did against Itachi if he ran out of his own.
Plus they say nothing about Deidara using a Bijudama level explosion despite himself and Sasuke confirming he was almost out earlier.

Sasuke is my personal favorite Naruto character, but I do agree that he has "main character plot armor". But that same thing goes for Naruto, he's always saved by Kurama, which is plot armor in itself.

Frankly I think Naruto is the worst character. they pretend that he's an underdog yet he's OP as hell and earned very little of it. his voice and attitude are annoying, he defeats enemies by talking and he was forgiving of Sasuke to a degree that can only be described as creepy.

And something else people forget is that for the entirety of the noruto and shippuden run Sasuke is a CHILD. Think of hos many teenagers hear a song or read a book and adjust their entire personality. How many adukts become crippled seeing strangers die in war.
Sasuke...in one night loses his entire family at the hands of the person in life he respected and admired the most, was forced to relive it again and again in a hellish illusion depicting reality, and then was told by this person that the ONLY reason he's being spared is that he is so weak and pathetic that he isnt even worth killing. Sasuke spends years training with the sole purpose of killing this person and when opportunity presents itself he tries and there is NO difference. He is no more a challenge than he was that same night he lost everything. Desperate for power he abandons everyone else who still cares about him, trains for years longer, finally kills this person...only to find ou- ya get my point. How he handles all this is perfeftly understandable.
I know grown adukts who'd buckle into a comatose husk trying to handle half of Sasuke's emotional weight.

Speaking of surviving explosions. Deidara should have died to the landmines. Those giant shuriken should have severed his tendons (what allows our hands to move). Kakashi disabled Zabuza's arms with a kunai yet Deidara could still create a clay bird to escape.

My major problem with Sasuke is how much of an asshole he is and how inconsistent he is.
Sasuke has backstabbed, abandoned, and tried to kill everyone who has ever cared or supported him. Why on earth would I like a character who does shit like that.
Also on how he is so inconsistent. In his first appearance in shippuden he was going to kill Naruto and Sakura had Orochimaru not stopped him. But some time later he has Suigetsu join him and tells him not to murder anyone. Like are you serious. So Sasuke is cool with murdering people who care about him but not random strangers. Are you serious.
After watching all of the episodes of Naruto and Shippuuden, I still think that Sasuke is an irredeemable character because at its core, Sasuke is an absolutely selfish character throughout the show. It did not matter how many people he had to betray, hurt, used, or kill to reach his overall goal which his overall goal is completely one sided and never once even considered how his actions will affect those around him. Yes, he may have had a fucked up childhood that affected how he viewed the world around him but he’s not the only character in the show that had suffered from traumatic childhood experiences. And on top of all of that, his redemption feels completely unearned as I felt he got off way too easily for all the terrible things he’s has done in the past. Sasuke hasn’t done nearly enough to redeem himself in my opinion. I just can’t stand him.
@@davy209 you can’t tell ppl how to react to their own trauma especially as a child, same with itachi he hates war cuz he’s seen it a ver young age I wouldn’t choose the village over my clan but I do understand him, orochimaru also had a fucked up way of dealing with seeing all still bodies but his method made sense to HIM. Naruto even acknowledged the fact that he didn’t even understand sasuke until Jaraiya died. Sasuke has been completely protecting the village from the outside since Shippuden and in boruto without him they would be at an disadvantage in many aspects. Ya hate sasuke because what he’s done to NARUTO. It was even foreshadowed when Karin said his chakra got dark and cold and later on tobirama explained why! I completely understand why people don't like or even hate Sasuke, I personally like him slightly more than Naruto and neither are in my top 5, they are in the top 10.
I always use this argument to defend him (you can call it an excuse if you want not judging) can you honest to God say you can be a normal person if your whole family was slaughter by the man who was once your biggest hero who happened to also be your brother and he tells you he solely did it for power, at like 6 years old.

Sasuke: Sharingan, Fire Style, Lightning style and still recovering from injuries
Bee: Regeneration, Extra chakra reserves, years of battles experience, completely healthy, basically another consciousness that HELPED him not get CAPTURED.

But make it make sense 😂 too much when none of them should have any at all. If Kishi didn’t get lazy and forgetful with his writing a lot of this discussion would be cleared up the only real questionable thing is the bee fight because a better fight would’ve went down if Sasuke would’ve taken his EMS from the beginning and I wonder why Kishi didn’t give it to him until the end of the series where basically it doesn’t matter much 😂
I think the difference in naruto and sasuke is the way their trust in people fluctuate and in specific people especially in sasukes path in life.
Naruto didn't know his family from the beginning so he always low key wanted friends even though a lot of people treated him bad as a kid. He would be angry to the older people as a kid because he never knew his parents and never understood why until he did and the older people of the village were usually the ones talking shit when he was young. Sasuke is the same way just on the opposite side of the coin. Plus his trust with different peoples fluctuated a lot based on the twisted shit he went thru. He never understood his brother and his actions which pointed to his brother being a fucking monster as a kid and so on. I mean he whupped the whole clans ass and gave his little brother a hard slap on the back to become strong so sasuke could one day seek vengeance and succeed in getting that vengeance. I don't care what you've been thru but when you've been betrayed by family or the most trusted person in your life, it hurts at least %100 more than feeling betrayed by a random person. I can feel for the dude thru and thru. In his case he was manipulated and tossed around by people around him except his friends in which requires a bond and he had already been scarred before reaching that point all the while he just wanted to understand everything before he goes crazy thinking too much about everything that happened. Makes you not want to put your trust into someone especially since he was so innocent when his life changed and he wasn't told what was going on. Gives you the fear of trusting.
As far as his daughter lol I think he didn't really trust his feelings too much and how could you blame him. He wanted to fucking kill naruto at one point in time lol hell he always wanted to kill itachi until itachi was literally on his deathbed. Then and only then he wasn't going crazy overthinking things that happened in his life. Makes you wonder as a person if you have the right to be a family person.

People forget that Sasuke in Shippuden is not supposed to be liked , and that is his character , Sasuke is definitely is the best written Character in Naruto , and probably One of the best in Anime in general
Exactly you are supposed to hate Sasuke, In shippuden but than you are supposed to like him again because he realised all the mistakes he made and wants to makes things right and in Boruto we see Sasuke care about people around him maybe not so much for Sarada but he immediately realised the mistake and started looking after Sarada and Sakura more and started teaching Sarada how to become a better shinobi than him when he was at her age.(Sorry for my bad English, but I hope you can understand😅)

I enjoyed this video as much as I enjoy Sasuke’s character.
I’ve seen lots of different perspectives of his character and as I understand (and happely understand why a lot of people don’t appreciate him) I love how his development shows how down the road a person can go when using poor thinking patterns.
Sasuke’s development may not make a lot of sense to most people, yet I see a good analogy in him to the distorted way a whole bunch of people operare from.
I think if we had more 1st person pov moments where we could follow sasuke's conflicts and train of thought, a lot more people who have empathised, even if they did not appreciate his actions
After watching all of the episodes of Naruto and Shippuuden, I still think that Sasuke is an irredeemable character because at its core, Sasuke is an absolutely selfish character throughout the show. It did not matter how many people he had to betray, hurt, used, or kill to reach his overall goal which his overall goal is completely one sided and never once even considered how his actions will affect those around him. Yes, he may have had a fucked up childhood that affected how he viewed the world around him but he’s not the only character in the show that had suffered from traumatic childhood experiences. And on top of all of that, his redemption feels completely unearned as I felt he got off way too easily for all the terrible things he’s has done in the past. Sasuke hasn’t done nearly enough to redeem himself in my opinion. I just can’t stand him.

Here’s the thing, I just understand Sasuke’s motivation to take out the leaf village and all of the Kages, after knowing everything that has happened. If it’s revenge for the Uchiha massacre, he already killed Danzo, and justifiably so. If it was for Itachi, that goes against everything Itachi had sacrificed everything he had before and was to protect the Hidden Leaf Village and Sasuke. He knows why Itachi was forced to kill all the Uchiha because their father and every high ranking member of the clan was attempting to commit a coup d'état against the Hidden Leaf which would have resulted in a complete slaughter against innocent people in the village. I honestly can understand why the massacre had happened because none of that would have happened off there wasn’t an attempted coup d'état against the Leaf Village. All that just confirms my belief that Sasuke, despite knowing everything, was still stubborn enough to do things his way, despite that going against everything that his loved ones (especially Itachi) had fought so hard for and used the tragedy of the Uchiha massacre and Itachi’s death as some some sort of justification for his actions despite it being so hypocritical or even taking into consideration of what Itachi truly wanted.
I didn't like Sasuke all the way up until the final fight with Naruto. Actually, I despised him. However, after him and Naruto fought, and he explained his behaviour was a result of his own insecurities and fear of abandonment it all made sense to me. Not to mention the fact he is a Uchiha adds to that, as they are very emotionally volatile. The fact that he refused a new arm infused with Hashirama's DNA offered from the Leaf also made me gain a ton of respect for him. Its like he felt that was a part of him atoning for his sins. Sharingan or not, missing an arm is extremely disadvantageous to a shinobi.
I disagree with some of the examples of plot armor, like against garra. There’s a lot of times in the series when characters would die if someone didn’t step in, I see that as something that they often do to generate hype but not necessarily plot armor. I think the same thing about the 5 kage summit example, he definitely made it through a lot of crazy stuff with the help of obito, but I see actual plot armor as when there isn’t a good reason why a character made it out, or something new was created just to bring the character back or something.

I really like Sasuke’s first takeout death in the Land of Waves arc because narratively it shows us that Sasuke really cares about Naruto/his comrades and also how deadly the Nine tales is when naruto gets enraged. Kishimoto also shows us when Haku “kills” Zabuza that Haku has the ability to fake out kill people

Saskue is my favorite character in shonen. I would put him up there with my other favorites like Alucard and Guts, why because to me Saskue doesn’t feel like a typical shonen rival…Vegeta or Bakugo, he feels more like a Seinen protagonist I would even compare his story to Thorfinn from Vinland Saga. Saskue doesn’t care about the main character so much like other rivals in fact he doesn’t care about what anyone else thinks,he’s going to do what he’s going to do. To me Sasuke is a traumatized kid who was so full of rage and hate and never got the help from others like Naruto did. Naruto could of gone down that dark path but he had someone there for him in those moments. First he got saved by Iruka Sensei and than when fighting Pain, his father was there to save him from the nine tails fox and when he was just about to give up after Neji died he had Hinata by his side. In his darkest moments Saskue had no one, Itachi tried to be there for his little brother but failed and then the only people who were there was Orochimaru and Madara/Obito and they manipulated him to go on a dark path. Saskue character for me is well written and I like that we got to go on his journey. It was like I was watching a Seinen protagonist after losing everything becomes cold and ruthless and just mentally exhausted walk down a dark path and then tries to discover who he is. The sad part is instead of like other Seinen protagonist he is a broken traumatized kid.
Would also like to say that he doesn’t “ abuse women”, he treats them equally to men lmao. They just dump for him, and that’s on them, he never asked Sakura to simp over him, he literally said he has no reason to love or be loved by her.

The last straw for me was how rude he was to his daughter when he first met her.

He had character development in the wrong direction and it was actively a detriment to his character as a whole. Once his revenge is all said and done he becomes a one dimensional character who doesn’t care about others. His entire character revolves around Itachi and without Itachi he’s not interesting in the slightest

About the plot armor i cannot say much, i dont judge sasuke . About the 5 kage and killer bee tho, I don’t think its arrogance, he doesn’t think he can take the 5 kage, he’s just so blinded by his feelings that he doesn’t even take that in consideration, he just wanted to take danzou out. I think the beauty of sasuke’s character is that, he is portrayed as having no feelings but in every every move of his you can see he is far more sentimental than rational. I respect your opinion a lot, I watch you all the time I completely disagree tho. Naruto as a series isn’t the greatest shit ever, kishimotos writing is pretty hit or miss throughout the series especially in shippuden. But sasuke is the best written character in naruto, and arguably one of best written Deuteragonist in all of shonen. Sasuke story comes full circle within the series and kishimoto wrote sasuke in a very believable way. There’s was no action sasuke took that I would think to my self and go “sasuke wouldn’t do that” everything sasuke did was extremely in character, whether it was a good or bad decision.

He’s reason for wanting power in the first place was itachi, then it was to destroy everything that caused itachi to go down his path, then it was to start his own revolution. At the end of the series sasuke realized that he was being controlled by power and went into a reflection stage that still holds till this day, even tho he has perfectly good reason to get that arm now 🤣 he most likely won’t because of who he is. So no sasuke would not of taking that arm lmao

A.) Sasuke Vs. Haku:
-Haku was stated to be too soft and too kind by Zabuza so I feel like its not head canon to say Haku was missing spots even if the Manga panel may have looked like it.
B.) Sasuke Curse Mark:
-Sorta plot armor but clearly having Uchiha blood (aka very closely related to Hagoromo and the Otsutsuki) its not that big of a deal to make his survival rate a bit higher.
C.) Sasuke Vs. Gaara:
-Sasuke just got saved by Naruto like a lot of people. Thats like saying Iruka has plot armor because Kakashi saved him from Pein.
D.) Sasuke Vs. Deidara (Even though you didn’t mention this I figured it was still a talking point because people arguably bring up that more than anything regarding to Sasuke’s plot armor):
-Sasuke was holding back and still won. He was still in “I don’t want to kill anyone” mode and could have used Dragon Flames when Deidara was on the C2 Dragon and then later Kirin and one shot easily but he let the battle drag out a while.
E.) Taka Vs. Bee:
-Sasuke kept getting saved by his teammates that he very carefully chose as supports so he could kill Itachi and later have other motives etc etc.
-Yes Bee was stronger and Sasuke managed to “Win” but it’s not really plot armor to have a good team that YOU collected to help you during battles.
F.) Sasuke Vs. Kage Summit (Mainly Ay):
-Sasuke was fucking Ay IV up so badly that Ay had to cut his own arm off and need Shi/Cee to heal him (aka what you would say is plot armor according to the Taka Vs. Bee fight) and if he had Guillotine Drop Kicked Sasuke’s Kagutsuchi Susano’o rib cage, Sasuke would have just survived, grew his Susano’o to Skeletal, and Ay would have lost his leg and Sasuke would clap him.

Well, no one was really able to understand him. Rather, everyone was jealous of him in one way or another because he is an Uchiha genius. He was also the one remaining after the genocide of his clan, so him being "anti-social" has strong logic behind it.
Him trying to kill Sakura only happened when she was trying to kill him, and Naruto was hell bent on trying to get in his way and forcing him back to the leaf village. Even so he was not able to bring himself to kill him at the valley of the end fight.

Personally, I do find that Sasuke was mishandled but I don't fundamentally hate him as a character. I think he would've been used better if he was allowed to remain compassionate towards others and relearned the value of teamwork. Despite his desertion from the village and revenge quest he was actually the first member for team 7 to reach out for team work and still had some moments of his original friendlier disposition buried under all his trauma.
He makes a good foil for Naruto but I'd rather that was played more in a way where Sasuke had his own respectable moral code like where they seemed to be going with him post Orochimaru. It'd help call into question some of the more messed up things Konoha was involved in and the need to address the systemic issues with ninja villages to make it a place he could reasonably be expected to return to. A big problem with how Naruto ended is that they raised societal problems within the setting and then never really dealt with them. Sure, Naruto talk no Jutsu'd people into getting along but beating up a handful of bad people doesn't actually fix things like kage and villages being a military dictatorship, child soldiers etc.
It's a bit like the problems I have with how they handled Naruto's pent up resentment towards the village by him just being ok because they stopped abusing him when we could've gotten more nuanced commentary about the process of letting go of unhealthy hatred and resentment without ignoring the harm that was done. Both Naruto and Sasuke could've faced eachother with equally sympathetic goals and motives instead of having Sasuke just be the objectively bad one who's a jerk to everyone and has to cede entirely to Naruto to ignore his grievances to end the conflict.

Not really...as that stuff was meant to be handled after the series ended. I mean...getting better relations with the other villages helps with that and they really aren't a dictatorship.

I mean...Sasuke was both objectivrly bad but also had a sympathic and kind of a sad goal too. He doesn't ignore his grievances though....but he sees that Naruto is right which makes sense.
@@Jdudec367 I'd still say he was mishandled since they pretty much threw away all his redeeming qualities just to make him an antagonist for a while and then basically tried to make him into good ending Madara reincarnation. The part where he was going out on his own assembling a team and shaping his own standards outside the village system was really good. That could've led to a really compelling take on the narrative about the village's failings and Sasuke slowly healing from his trauma. It would've been a real challenge and counterpoint to Naruto if Sasuke was allowed to keep within standards that aren't actually all that objectionable beyond the village's obligation to deal with their rogue ninja and the political ramifications of his actions with the resolution being that both Naruto and Sasuke reach a sort of middle ground putting together the strengths of their outlooks and addressing the faults of them to really create change they're both satisfied with.
Pain's arc had a lot of put into the philosophical aspect of his conflict with Naruto, so I don't see why they couldn't have worked something like that into Naruto and Sasuke's rivalry.

They kind of did...by the end of Shippuden part of the deal of Naruto and Sasuke's final fight is who will decide the fate of the shinobi world and their vision for it.
@@Jdudec367 I meant he's thematically equivalent to a version of Madara who made peace with Hashirama and stayed/went back to the village given that he's literally reincarnation of Madara and the whole Indra and Asura thing. He was already equated to Madara to a degree before the Indra and Asura stuff came in and took over everything.
I personally found the setup for their final fight kinda dumb. There wasn't really any good reason for Sasuke to just trap all the tailed beasts and declare he was going to take over the world like that. I'm not saying there wasn't some attempt to do the thing you're claiming but that it was done poorly and there were a number of better and more narratively satisfying ways to go about it. The narrative says Naruto somehow solved the systemic issues with the villages and the story just waves a magic wand to make that the case but it really just sidestepped all the complexities of what it'd take to actually fix those issues to skip to things being ok again. It wasn't narratively satisfying as a solution to the themes and systemic issues that were brought up and part of my problem with that is the way Sasuke's side of it was handled.

Some points. Why would Itachi slaughter his family and clan. Make his brother watch him kill all of them 518,400 times. Make him cut ties, be hell bent on revenge, and tell Sasuke to kill him. And become a traitor to the leaf and go through all of that for Sasuke just to later kill him does that make any sense to you.
2nd How you gonna explain the reason he doesn’t hang out with his daughter but say he’s a bad father. He has to keep Gods that destroy planets for fun away from Earth and learn info from them so Sarada and everybody can be safe. 3rd He already has Hashirama cells in him from Kabuto during the war. 4th 2 rinnegan would be more of detriment to him than 1. 1 Rinnegan already takes up most of his chakra, even Obito couldn’t handle 2.
If you really wanna talk about Plot armor let’s talk about Naruto. Kuruma saves him with Haku. Kuruma Saves him against Orochimaru and the big snake. Saves him with Gammabunta. Sasuke literally rips out the man’s lung but because of Kuruma he doesn’t die. Let’s get into Shippuden Sasuke literally would’ve killed Team 7 with one move but because of plot Sasuke is told to come back inside. Naruto fights Pain gets folded but guess what because of Minato and Kuruma he doesn’t die.
Obito literally rolls up on Naruto nobody even knew he was there but guess what Obito just wanna talk. Naruto later should’ve died 3 times but thanks to Kuruma, Hagoromo, and Sakura guess what still alive. Manda didn't help sasuke he was put in a genjutsu and sacrificed. Deidaras final explosion looked like it was just raw concussive force Manda was probably eating jutsus from orochimaru so hurting him was no easy task. Shrug.

He learns that Itachi was protecting the village with his life and turns around and basically says “in honor of my brother who protected the leaf village, I’m going to destroy the leaf village!” Itachi is face palming from heaven. He’s such a one dimensional and boring character too. Without Itachi who is sasuke? No one. He’s just another Uchiha at that point

Best boy picking teammates based on their abilities is plot armor because he didn't brainlessly enter battles without preparing? As is being aided by allies who we already knew were on the way (Naruto and Sakura). And surviving needles that were meant to knock him out like Zabuza from someone who didn't want to kill him (chapter 17, page 6 & c33, p4-5).
Deidara surviving landmines and asspulling a Bijudama level explosion after him and Sasuke confirmed he had little chakra left is fine. But *Orochimaru absorbed* Sasuke who used Oro's chakra for snakes, and only said he was worn out from shocking himself with Chidori is plot armor. Yet Itachi surviving Kirin despite his condition is fine. And Sasuke should have died even though Itachi didn't want to kill him.
The Kage "bodied him" even though no one even touched him aside from the Raikage at the cost of an arm. And particle jutsu should have killed him because non-canon anime screenshot showed him inside even though the manga didn't (c466, p14).
The only good point you made was Madara, but Danzo wasn't immediately killed either when Sasuke pierced his heart.
Naruto was just as if not more plot armored the only reason sasuke was heavily plot armored was to keep up with narutos plot armor.
While it can be taken as plot armor (especially after the Deidara fight), I would like to think that most of everything was just planning. Sasuke's goal was to kill Itachi, who was in a group filled with S-ranked criminals. After he kills one, all of the others will turn their sights on him. So he needs a plan to survive them. So he recruited Karin for healing, Jugo for power, and Suigetsu as a human shield. Then, in a best-case scenario, where he killed Itachi, and Obito didn't talk to him, Sasuke would probably have gone back to the Leaf. He had no bounty, killed no one who didn't deserve it, and he could even be called a spy on Orochimaru's operations. At worst he went AWOL for a couple of years and came back with another Uzumaki, the source of all curse marks, and the water boy. They probably would have given him a clean slate.
Sasuke could summon Manda as he had the summoning seal on his arm. It’s the same way Orochimaru summoned him against Jiraiya and Tsunade. Summoning Manda in this way uses no chakra so that wasn’t a plot armor.
I seriously doesn’t understand people hype over diedra vs sasuke plot armor..
1. Sasuke was never out of chakra,it was just diedra assumption. Diedra aint a sensory type ninja nor have any dojutsu.
2. The real reason sasuke can't stand properly because he electrocuted himself due to lightning.
3. If sasuke was really out of chakra, then Orochimaru would have emerged from him like happened against itachi.

I respect your opinion but honestly if you're gonna talk about plot armor then Naruto clearly takes the cake here. The amount of buffs and power ups he gets and how many times Kurama saves him when he should have either lost or died is 6 kinds of bullshit. It's likely that you don't notice or care because you as you admitted, you were never going to like no matter what so things to be criticized stick out more for you with him because you already don't like him. Naruto was fine with you and so his plot armor didn't bother you, and that's how characters work, if you don't care about them flaws tend to stick out more.
That's a poor argument. He never claimed Naruto is a perfect character, he's simply explaining why he doesnt like Sasuke. And you cant say Naruto has more plotarmor when in terms of scr.time, Naruto obviously has more. But if we equalize them all, than Sasuke most likely has the bigger plotarmor since he's a literal walking as*pull. His whole growth depends on emotions instead of training. The only training he did was with Kakashi and Orochimaru. Everything after has all been obtained with him being a cringy emo, aka as*pulls/plotarmor.

Not only that but by this point it's been well established that Sasuke is a prodigy, very talented, incredibly smart, and extremely motivated. We don't need to see every second of his training that he does especially since he's not even the focus character for so much of the series, Naruto is.
More importantly I was just making my case and defense for a character that means a lot to me and gets unfairly shat upon because he's a troubled kid... like that's it. Everything he does makes sense if you're willing to view it from his perspective and not your own, just because something doesn't make sense to you doesn't mean it wouldn't make sense to him.
Sasuke has one of the most multilayered, heartbreaking character arcs I've seen and it parallels nicely with Naruto's. Both go through a lot and are entirely different people by the end than they were in the beginning. I'm not saying Sasuke is a flawless character as there are things done with him that even I don't agree with, namely the fact that he legit actually tries to kill Sakura and Kakashi, that shit was too far for me.
But every character has their pitfalls and I still find Sasuke's story to be inspiring despite it's flaws, even while on a dark path he's an excellent example of someone who's extremely disciplined, intelligent, and constantly wanting to get stronger, to always improve himself. And post his redemption he's an example of what I've always believed personally, that no one is beyond redemption, no one is beyond saving, but you can't redeem someone for them, they have to do it themselves. Hence why it's very appropriate that upon realizing the error of his ways he chooses to wander the Earth and do his best to atone for what he's done, even though I wanted him to stay home and finally live a happy peaceful life he knew that wasn't right.

But it is a little bit of what you suspect, sorry but this show just wouldn't be entertaining without Sasuke's revenge plot. I like to watching him gradually fall further into darkness, I related to that quite a bit in the past. I also like to think that if my family should be killed that I would go out of my way to and do anything to get revenge. But that's the cool thing about fiction

The first time they fought Naruto couldn't fight him on an ideological level he couldn't understand him. Because of that lack of understanding he lost because instead of trying to understand sauske he tried to guilt trip him and use force to bring him back
The second time however he had grown, experienced the pain of loss like sauske did and was finally at a point strength wise where he could fight sauske ideal to ideal until sauske finally realized just how far Naruto was willing to go for him. that's why Naruto won.

One of the few things I like about Boruto is seeing Sasuke change. I didn't like him either in Shippuden (him Danzo and Sakura were my 3 least favorite characters) but in Boruto I kinda like him. I enjoyed seeing him trying to bond with Sarada(peanut), him and Boruto going back in time to see a young Naruto and how his friendship with Naruto has changed him.
