How Powerful Is Kang The Conqueror In The MCU?

- So Kang’s basically here. Big deal, so what, who cares? Well you should. We all should because according to Marvel lore this guy will be the biggest threat to the MCU the universe has seen up until this point. Don’t believe me, just take a look at the comics, not to mention what he’s done so far. Thanos was pretty tough, but he’s not “two scars down your cheeks and definitely never smiles” tough. Kang the Conqueror is ready to take the spotlight, but just how powerful will he be? Let’s take a look at Kang’s greatest powers and which ones might transfer to the MCU.
In order to figure out just how strong Kang will be in the MCU, we first have to take a look at the source material. You’d better believe Thor’s got a big old hammer and hulk can give ya a good whack because they did it in the comics first. But what are some of Kang’s strongest abilities on the page? Outside of trailer footage we’ve seen very little of what the MCU version of Kang will be capable of. So let’s go power by power from the comics and see what hints we may have that these could be shared powers with our very own version of Kang the conqueror. Kang goes by many names, and chief among them, besides conqueror of course, is the master of time. Kang has all but mastered time travel. He knows the timeline in a way almost no other characters do, and has learned how to manipulate it, conquer it, and literally hit the reset button every time he fails. In terms of pure power he isn't that powerful, I doubt he could take on Thor or captain marvel unlike Thanos with the stones but his strategic mind and the fact he can reach beyond the end of space and time makes his powers literally unprecedented.
Loveness wanted to focus on Kang as a human being by exploring his humanity and vulnerability as a "very lonely" character before he reaches "apocalyptic, Avengers-scale heights".
He is just men like tony stark. But he has the ultimate armor and tech.

After watching the movie, it’s literally all just advanced tech in his suit. So he’s just another iron man to me. I definitely feel sorry for the other kangs when they go up against avengers like Wanda, DS, Captain Marvel etc…
Majors said that Kang would be the "supervillain of supervillains" and looked to contrast Tony Stark / Iron Man, who he called the "superhero of superheroes".

Kang killed most of their versions multiple times. Although obviously our versions of the Avengers will come out on top for the sake of the story.
That's all you know. Even Thanos is stronger than him. He tried to avoid him in the comic. The reason why Kang is so powerful is because defeating all variants of him is almost impossible.
Thing is Kang is unpredictable. We don’t know what he will do in the Mcu. He killed thanos by having time pass through him. You can’t win against someone like that unless you get the drop on him or your a mutant like scarlet witch. Magneto can kill him if Kang doesn’t see it coming. But he sees everything coming. Iron man can’t teleport like him, nor does he have telekinesis tech.
Kang was Iron Man Evil with way more autoself defence tech and more powerful attacks like goddamn my Dude was basically a God....Fucking Epic movie godamn he was a madman as expected

They did him bad in the movie, I don't read comics but from what I saw in the movie, he's not that strong but I will wait for "Avengers: Kang's dynasty." He lost to some ants and it was pretty disappointing for all the hype I had going into the movie.

Folks saying "He lost to some ants", you all foget the physical strength of an ant. Imagine an ant your size enhanced with armour and technology. Already their exoskeleton is tough and their mandibles have the crushing power of a car crusher. They can lift up to 50x their weight. Now, imagine being attacked by a 100 plus ants. Even Thanos would struggle.
Also.. other Kangs have the same abilities as timetravel goes, and the same intelligence.. *They* might want to keep this Kang in the quantum realm.. Egos do occasionally get too big...

I think the adults in the room are tired of the "good guy wins in the end" plot in the MCU. Can some villains win every now and then without a cheat-code sequel that undoes all their efforts? It undermines the villain and ultimately makes the MCU boring.

Considering he was Killed in Loki and Quantiumania, hes not that powerful. His power comes from the fact hes easily replaced by other versions of himself, similar to Ultron in the comics.
The one in quantumania is the good one comparatively and he was trying to stop the council of khangs from creating more variants and alternate timelines. So they exiled him

I’m glad Stan Lee died, I hate this character so much, he is just mortal but can be able to take down gods or do whatever he wants, extremely unrealistic to the point I hate Stan Lee to the core. The day he passed away was the day my mind at peace a bit. My whole childhood was pissed off by this character.
