I'm many years late, but only just heard of Borrasca, I listened to the first one, absolutely enraged by the ending, and I am so satisfied how they were taken down by this ending!
This seriously needs to be a TV mini series, without changing ANYTHING, or at least do not change the key parts.
You did an amazing job voicing the characters, fantastic.
Had no idea this had a sequel and was just messed up for years until 30 minutes ago. With compelling story telling like this, it's no surprise this author went on to write "The Haunting of Hill House"
So listening to Borrasca and this back to back and man what a ride, I'm emotionally drained. What a great story.

I was so furious about the first story. This ending made me cry out of relief.

I should have guessed that Kimber and Kyle were siblings, if I remember correctly they both had red hair, only one to two percent of the worlds population has naturally red hair.

no, Kimber and Kyle were both babies from Borrasca, probably having the same biological mother who had the recessive gene for red hair, I was saying that the fact that they both have red hair, an extremely rare trait, should have been a tip off at the beginning of the story as it is a strange detail to include in a story for two of the main characters to both have red hair.
Additionally both names start with k which stands for the first letter of the last name of the man that....
they mentioned at least one other person with a K name that had red hair in the first story. Another sibling.
I can’t believe I only found this story now. I listened to the first part yesterday and this part today and I can’t even begin to explain how much this story has affected me. Thank you for narrating this Lady White Rabbit; your voice has such a story-telling quality and emotional depth which heightened the experience even more. Even though I found this years after you posted it, I still want to share my gratitude for offering your talent here.❤️

Every single time a character who allegedly knows about guns calls a magazine a clip it takes me straight out if the story
They know about guns, but are probably still arrogant about firearms. Besides, stop being one of those cunts. We know a clip is a clip and mag is a mag.
If someone calls a mag a clip, only Fudds and greasy Redditors get mad.
I red the first Borrasca about 10 years ago. its horrible but also my favorite horror story. No creepypasta and harly any movie ever fucked with me so deeply as this one. Its a masterpiece.
The fun thing is, I didn't know there was more, now here I am, listening to it 10 years later, just as the story skipped 10 years.
I love this story it's really good! If made right I could see this being a movie or maybe even a video game!

Took me a while to listen as I was repeatedly interrupted - like now as I type this, grrr. Lady, you did CK Walker proud! I imagine it took you a hell of a lot more time and effort to narrate and edit than I'll ever realise, so thank you for making this narration. I have read it on her site and heard at least 2 other narrators' versions, but yours tops them all :)

2:16:18 Good God, man. I was waiting for her to call him selfish for his actions. That being said, I'm glad I can leave this story knowing that justice has been served in-universe. This story is so exhausting (Not a bad thing about the story, it's a really good story actually), and knowing that borrascas actually exist doesn't help.

I like to believe that Kyle was able to recover from so many years of being kept sedated. Since he was said to be unresponsive and nonverbal so my hope is that them 3 could be happy again. Although I find it kinda gross knowing that kimber and kyle have the same biologically father she cannot have children so I like to believe they ended up together happy

This is crazy, because this is pretty much the exact sequel I had in mind. Kimber and Sam roll back up to town guns loaded and somehow Kyle's brain works again. This idea swam around in my head for years, not knowing this had a sequel.
Edit: the more I listen to this the more I'm seeing a clear connection between Sam and Luke from Haunting of Hill House
Edit 2: 1 hour and 10 minutes in and I think this is just awful compared to the first one. The reasoning on both ends of Sam and Kimber just don't make any sense. Like- Sam is angry, but not about being lied to as to why they came there or that Kimber was literally willing to sacrifice him as hired muscle just to see if Kyle was even alive and he just glosses over that

Man part 5 really dropped the ball in quality. Went from a unique and disgusting realism, to a Hollywood-esq cliche, with hilarious gun trunk, banter and bullshitting idiot villains, with a hacker friend. What a slop.
Its definitely a massive disappointment. Almost feels like someone completely different wrote this.
