“These are challenging times,” says Paul Stanley. “Long before I ever heard the great British bands, I grew up listening to Philly Soul, Motown and so much more. I was lucky to see Otis Redding and Solomon Burke among others. That music and its storytelling gave me strength and hope even in some tough days. The great classics of that era are magical medicine for most and I felt myself drawn back to that era for some sorcery I think we could all use. While it’s hard to connect physically, some of Soul Station decided to reach out and make a virtual and emotional connection on a great Motown and Smokey Robinson classic, Ooo Baby Baby.”

True story ...a fan of his had a really bad accident at his daughter's volleyball game...he fell from the top of the bleachers...freak accident and he was put in a coma ..considered brain damaged and almost pulled the plug....but before that somehow his wife was able to have Paul Stanley come visit in the hospital and Paul sang. Not too long later He came out of the coma. It was considered miracle. The wife of that husband is my coworker. When I told her I was a huge fan of Kiss she told me her story...I was shocked...she showed me the article that was on the Kiss site...pretty amazing how music heals.

His been singing his ass off all of his life. And his voice had been trough more than a lot. Its a joy when u follow an artist that he stills have passion to put out any material to the world. I dont care about if his voice was better before. If I am half the artist that he is at his age I will be overjoyed and very gratefull. Passion is the most important for me when following artists, and Paul has that more than most:) So thank you starchild for all the joy and passion that you have colored my life with!
Maybe his voice was better before when it came to belting out a rock song at the top of his lungs, but I think it probably sounds better now singing like this than it did 30yrs ago. It takes time to finely tune a delicate instrument.

@@igorpodemski9596 That's one of my favorite KISS albums! I've been trying to play some of the selections on my electric violin like I am Just a Boy, Odyssey, and A World Without Heroes. It's hard without sheet music. I'm one of those who can listen to a song, then play it on my violin. KISS Alive 4 is another fave of mine with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra all in KISS makeup. They were amazing to listen to and watch and how they played with KISS was just plain awesome!❤❤

His voice heals
In a normal or falsetto tone where he isn't pushing it as he does with KISS, it is much better. If your voice is shot and you're trying to push a lot of air through those vocals cords, it is going to sound like utter trash. This was pretty good. This isn't going to make fat stacks for Paul though.

Like I said in my comment, I may be wrong about Paul's solo album selling the most copies, and you were 100% correct that it was Ace's album that sold the most. I Google searched that info. And I didn't say that Paul would be better off without KISS. For how awesome his voice was in the 70's, etc. if KISS hadn't happened, Paul still would/could do well as a musician, singer, and songwriter on his own or with another band. He is very talented. But as we KISS fans all know, KISS just wouldn't be KISS, if it weren't for Paul, Gene, Ace, and Peter originally. Bruce, the 2 Erics, Mark, Vinnie and Tommy are/were great members of the group too, and we must not forget them in KISSTORY. ❤❤

I’m one of the haters who thinks Paul can’t sing anymore. This blew me away.
He is singing using falsetto in this video, it does not age. But his “normal” chest voice (that he uses on most Kiss songs) is still destroyed.
We can either believe the Paul-Can't-Sing narrative or we can believe our ears!

It’s not “hating” it’s the truth, Paul can’t sing the rock stuff anymore. This suits him better as long as be doesn’t try to belt.

I think some people are born to be. A Star is born, here at SOULSTATION, the energy is real. I met Paul. It was electric. I think he has E.S.P. , crazy huh? Then how does he get in your head? I love this so much. Iv never heard Paul's voice like this. It's so beautiful. And I have grown up listening to him since I was a baby. My father grew up listening to kiss and I fell in love with Paul's voice but now I am so I love with his voice. He sounds like an angle

I am a big kiss fan and have been since 1973,with that said I know Paul had some vocal Issues when it came to singing, especially the last few years he sounded like his vocal chords were shot!!
