Looking good! I dont know if i could lose the cornering lights, though! I highly recommend updating the dipped bulbs with LED to get a better light output. :)
Unfortunately for me all the motors are knackered. Long story short these lights were in a mk4.5 which my Dad had bought while still owning a mk4 (this mk4 which I bought off of him). As he found out his lights where knackered in new car he swapped the ones he knew were working from his mk4 (my car). So I basically have his knackered mk4.5 headlights. Guess that wasn't a short story.... hence why I wanted to put in ring lights as the side lights :) I have 125w (i believe) bulbs in there currently as tried a few different brands, etc, and found these to be best for me. Thanks for the info though :)
so you black out all the chrome mirror finish to make the lights brighter ! like blowing a candle out to see in the dark , who would have thought all the car manufacturers have been doing it wrong all this time

What size led ring did you use please
90mm if I can remember correctly
