While I'd love to see the Be-200 and the CL-415 in operation I wish I would never see them in operation. Because *if* I would see those aircraft in operation it would mean that there is something very terrible going on.
I've seen the CL415 in action in Italy, but it was for practice (lago Bracciano). It's truly amazing

Άκουγα ανθρώπους του ΠΣ που μιλούσαν στο τηλέφωνο με τις οικογένειες τους και τους έλεγαν ότι έχουν να κοιμηθούν 3 μέρες. Και το τηλεφώνημα δεν ήταν για να περάσει η ώρα. Τους καλούσαν οι άνθρωποί τους για να δουν αν είναι καλά. Τι να πεις τώρα για τους ανθρώπους αυτούς. Εγώ τους άφησα 4 κρύα νερά που είχα, έσκυψα το κεφάλι και έφυγα μουγκός.

The bulgarian/russian helicopters are old but always do the job big bulky and reliable like the UAZ jeep 50 years old but still the best with low maintenance. Hopfully some day on the balkans we will start producing that type of stuff one day multipurpose and reliable.

Μικρότερα μέσα μικρότερες δεξαμενές, αμεσότερη επέμβαση, μεγαλύτερα μέσα μεγαλύτερες δεξαμενές μεγαλύτερος χρόνος δράσης, όλα χρειάζονται, τα μικρότερα για να μην περνουν διαστάσεις, τα μεγαλύτερα για τον περιορισμό

They really do an amazing job but it's just sad to see this happening. We need more technology to stop fires much faster and ways of protecting this areas to avoid this...

Build firebreaks and allow forest services to remove dead foliage on the forest floor. Allow them to do controlled burns keeping the forest healthy and more fire resistant. Also arson plays a part in this as well. Stupid ass Green peace and libtards not allowing forest services to do their jobs and poor forest management is why we see these happen. Get a particularly hot and dry summer and you have a prime tinderbox just waiting to be lit on fire.
How do pilots breathe flying in that thick smoke? Do they use breathing apparatus or what?

And is it not better to fire prevently in those woods controlled by fire departments when they are in this woods? And isn't it better to take dry wood out of the woods before fires take place?Or maybe you make more lakes in the inland of those country's.And remember:for more planes you need more standing places,personel,and:they are not needed in winter time.....And than those planes costst those country's many money.....

Yes, mainly water scoping, since dropping areas most of the times are not accessible for clear footage, at least without disturbing the work of fireman on the ground.
You could do with those 747 Supertankers sadly the company that flew them went bust, believe they are up for sale though or one of the DC-10 tankers.
They have a major flaw, they need to land to refuel water

DC10's busy with all the fires in California USA. I think the Be200 is a great plane, Cal Fire and the US Forest Service don't seem to like Scoopers, the Be 200 scoops up water way faster than the choppers and is way safer, espically the Sky Crane has to go down close to the water, the other chopers with Bambi Buckers, as we call them in the states just do not have enough water to mak a diiferece on a large fire, Ok to use on hot spots. Fire agencies in the US seem to like Tankers with Fire Retardent better.

It is urgent to construct fire safety zones 50-70 m wide around ALL villages with bulldozers and chainsaws to protect the houses from the forest fires.
Problem is pine trees when fruit get fire they explode and can jump 100s of meters away and start new fire.
All well said, but human is the main problem, and forest must be protected from it.
It would have been more fun to actually see the drops and where the water was placed. Terrible situation for the residents.
It looks like, they wanted to exttinguish the fire of hell. And for sure, it was the hell.

While Russian Siberian forests in Yakutia under fire (over 6 mln hectares), our government sent several Be-200 to help firefighters in Turkey and Greece. This is terrible! We ourselves need more planes to put out the fires!

Don’t we have an environmentally correct nuke that can take care of this quickly? Like a green bomb or something… that bucket under the chopper looks way dangerous.. I see ten things possibly happening and nine are bad.
When we had huge forrest fires in Sweden 2018 we couldnt put it out because it was so big, and even a military firing range got ravaged. So the Military did an experiment and dropped ATG bombs from our fighter jets. And it worked really well, the blastwave put out good portions of the fire. But you cant bomb cities to put out fires 😂

@@vasopel χαλάρωσε να πεις σε αυτούς που κάηκαν στο μάτι και σε αυτούς που τους κάηκε το σπίτι. Το 100 είναι ενδεικτικό μπορεί να χρειάζονται ακόμη περισσότερα. Η Ιταλία έχει πάνω από 100 πτητικά μέσα, η Ελλάδα με τα "νοικιαρικα" το καλοκαίρι φτάνει τα 70, η Αμερική βέβαια έχει πολύ περισσότερα.

@@vasopel ευτυχώς που τα επιχειρήματα σου είναι χαλάρωσε και ξαναχαλαρωσε, υπάρχει δήλωση του κ. Σκερτσου που μπορείς να βρεις σε πολλά άρθρα οτι η Ελλάδα διαθέτει 74 διαθέσιμα εναέρια μέσα.
Στις ΗΠΑ υπάρχουν ιδιωτικές ομάδες (στο μοντέλο λειτουργίας της χωρας) με τις μεγαλύτερες να διαθέτουν στόλους γύρω στα 70. Μπορείς επίσης να βρεις άρθρα για τις φωτιές στην California όπου επιχειρούσαν πάνω από 130.
Μετράς μόνο τα canadair; γιατί Ιταλία και Ισπανία έχουν σίγουρα πάνω από 100.
Πραγματικά όμως δεν κατανοώ την αρνητικη σου στάση λες και είναι κάτι που δεν το έχει ανάγκη η χώρα.

λοιπον εψαξα βρηκα τις δηλωσεις του σκερτσου, λεει:
Ελλάδα: 74 εναέρια μεσα (πολυ πολυ λιγοτερα εχουμε,
απλα μετραει και τα σινουκ του στρατου και τα "νοικιαρικα")
Ιταλία: 30 εναέρια μέσα (εσυ δεν μου ελεγες οτι εχει πανω απο εκατο?
εδω λεει τον αριθμο που σου ειπα εγω)
Ισπανία: 274 εναέρια μέσα (και αυτη λιγοτερα εχει απλα μετραει και 2 ιδωτικες εταιριες)
και ασε το συστημα της αμερικης...αυτοι οι στολοι που λες ειναι απο παλια επιβατικα αεροπλανα που τα εχουν μετατρεψει,
αυτα λοιπον ΔΕΝ μπορουν να παρουν νερο απο την θαλλασα
και ΔΕΝ εχουμε για να τα υποστηριξουμε 7 αεροδρομια γυρω απο ενα μεγαλο δασος οπως ειναι η κατασταση στην καλιφορνια.

Nice video. Some crazy fire behaviour and quite the mix of aircraft. Hard to have success when fighting that kind of fire, in those weather conditions, next to all those values and hazards. Dangerous stuff. Check out my video for more aerial wildfire action.
