- In this shocking and dramatic story, my husband demanded, "Give me your $5 million inheritance," but I refused. While I was on a business trip, he called and said, "I demolished your parents' home. Now your parents will live in an old age home." I couldn't help but laugh because the house was already sold two months ago. Discover the full story and the unexpected twist that left him speechless.

My parents married in 1947 at a time when husbands didn't help out with the cooking or cleaning but I was very blessed as my Dad helped out around the house and did all the mowing and gardening. He cooked but my mother told me once that he was a horrible cook but she never told him that so instead since they both worked in the late 40's and onward he would take her out to eat a few times a month so she could dress up and relax.
That is a lovely story/memory. Thank you for sharing. It invoked memories of my lovely hands on dad. 🙏🕊️
@@janettepettinger8439 ....... thank you for the kind message.
What a beautiful story . I could actually see everything that you said . I saw a man mowing n gardening n so forth
I don’t understand why she didn’t divorce this family and her husband even before her mother died,?
Prob because this is a made up story. The AI even got the I and you confused
Wow , what a lot of rude inlaws and spoiled husbands .
Did he actually love his wife. ..why did they marry???..
I’m a widow. I had a guy I was dating about 10 yrs after my husband’s death ask me to marry him! I said no! I liked him allot but I didn’t wavt to get married again. He also said later well if you won’t marry me will you come clean my house? Lol I said no! Sure won’t.
What you sowed, you shall reaped, Brother
He's an adult and shouldn't depend on his wife to do everything around the house. If my husband had behaved like he did, I wouldn't have one anymore.
He shouldn't be committing property destruction, larceny, and selling stolen goods either.
😊
After listening to these stories and reading the comments, my decision to remain SINGLE FOR LIFE is SMART!
Her husband is a selfish jerk! He has no empathy or kindness for his wife's family. Also, he is lazy, expecting his wife to do everthing, taking care of her mother, plus cook his meals, laundry and cleaning. He does not try to help at home at all, but what do you expect considering how rude and nasty the husband's parents are.
Hahaha so do I.@@beckyelliott2871
What 3rd world country is this from. Who demolishes a house instead of selling. Pakistan or India?
Karma has a wonderful way of coming back to one
Well deserved karma
I believe in Karma
Most likely Japan. Houses are actually built to be demolished.
Seems like it.
Scott is perfect jealous teenage 🤣 and this husband is not a spouse at all.
How silly
Scott, you suddenly don't have hands and completely helpless? So Scott, what would you do if and when Amy suddenly passed away? Or better yet, if it was his parents that needed the extra care, you'd expect.
your wife to drop everything, huh?
"Your husband is an outsider..." Only long enough until you can get something out of it!
KARMA turned out to be a real queen!
-- Story line contradiction: at 4:11 Scott was an only child but at 28:18 Scott being the eldest son.
He's grown man but a grown man he 😮😮😮😮acts like b child
Why are all these stories from foreign places? The USA has a lot of similar circumstances.
Dad died when she was 52, he must have been 16 when she was born. Someone needs to check story.😅
555554 6
Yes I noticed that
Theres alot of 16 yr olds that have become parents
My grandma had my first aunt at 14.
My sister's dad was born when his mom was 16.
Many have kids young.
Back in those days, a lot of people had kids at 16. Life expectancy was lower, people had kids younger. Looks like someone needs to check their facts before commenting. Even today people have kids at 16. Heck in 1998 there were headlines because Sean Stewart was just 11 when he had s*x with his 15-year-old next-door neighbour Emma Webster. Nine months later he was given the day off school to be present when his son Ben Louis was born on January 20, 1998 - just a month after Sean's 12th birthday.
Crazy story..... nobody just go and demolish houses.... you need permit from the owner
Chinese story I can believe it was a old craphouse lol 😂
What about the. Furniture and all?
It doesn't mean that it's never happened
How can her parents live in an old age facility if they are both DEAD!!!
Very first sentence....my parents moved in with me, then it was: when my parents died. How confusing
Because it's a badly conceived fake story.
Only in make believe stories.
Unbelieable.
Traditionally, Europeans are more inclined to build for posterity than Americans. Maybe Japanese are less so. Trouble is, the writers try to confuse us about where the stories happen by substituting place names, etc.
Are you talking about houses that are hundreds of years old (in Europe) as opposed to houses that are only one hundred years, or so, old (in America)? If so, can you give a basis for your assumptions? I'm certainly curious.
How can she be 53 and her dad 68
It is possible if the parent was a teen when she was conceived. It’s rare but can happen
@@Dhestroyer13 Sadly, not very rare at all! Kids get busy with their bodies, long before they are mature enough to deal well with the consequences.
Yup dad was 15!
@@bethwerrell1010 true. I’d like to think that it isn’t all that common but who am I kidding. You’re right.
Your meals??? Well, there's always McDonald's
Disgusting ADRENOCHROME FILLED GARBAGE THATS McDonald's AND ALL FAST FOOD 💯🎯💯 PERCENT PERIOD
How sad. Nobody proofreads these scripts or audits the narrations . . .
They don't translate well into English
Wasn't the house the inheritance?
Quite literally, yes. Scott is an idiot. I'm just saying.
Terrible husband and in laws…
Good story & ending was Great!
I wish they wouldn’t tell the story like this.. I want to know the location.. also some inconsistencies but Amy seemed to forgiving if anything.. also did Scott’s mother goto jail for selling stolen items?
What the heck is a lemony payment? Lol
Like an orange payment, but more tart :D
alimony not lemony
I know this is a story, but this is why I'm single 😢 this is the type of people that only want to float to my direction!
A lemony payment? What's that? It can't be alimony because we aren't talking about divorce.
I did not like either of my in-laws, but when I asked for help or needed help.I was always there no problem
Good story
A-Z😅😅😮P
OP's in-laws are still alive. Why can't he go live with them? He is so selfish, thinking only about HIS needs. He was given the option of living with OP and her mother.
No, really, it’s her mom. They will eventually take care of his parents as well. That’s what real family does.
My family has been through this. You don’t want your parents to have to spend their last days away from home.
The thing is, in this situation, I was married to Scott’s family.
Not Scott, but his family.
My husband and our children and grandchildren were the ones who took the time to spend with his mom. My son and daughter in law were the ones to move in with her to keep her from losing her home and moving into a home.
He they not stayed the two and a half years until she passed away, cooked for her, cleaned for her. Got up two or three times at night with her. My daughter in law potty trained three children while there. Then, right back into changing diapers. But this time she volunteered to do it. Asking no pay, doing it only in love.
From the very beginning my husband’s sister had wanted to put her in a home and have someone else take care of her so she didn’t have to deal with the decline in health.
Yet after all the push to get her in the nursing home, stating, “ she has made me he power of Attorney, so I have the final say as to where she goes.”
I made the comment in front of their mother, knowing what was going to happen after I did, “mom, if you had the choice of staying here and having someone stay here and take care of you or go to a live in facility which would mean the payments would eventually mean you lose the house you and Addie bought together because of the cost. What do you want to do.
She said, I’m staying right here! Who wants to put me in a home that will make me loose my home.
I just told her she needed to talk to her Power of Attorney about that. She then looked at me and said, who? Then saying her daughter’s name, she looked at my husband and sister in law. She just shook her head, looked at my son and asked him if he was going to still move in with her until she didn’t need him anymore. He just smiled at her and said anything for you mawmaw.
For two and a half years they kept her safe.
Now she has passed, the sister in law has made the comment that, they stayed there and mooched off of her. The thing is, when they moved in with 5 children, there was more food in that house than there has been since my kids were kids. My son actually cooks. My sister in law was bringing her frozen meals that were easy to fix when she came to spend whatever assigned two hours she gave herself. It wasn’t like she offered to come cook for her but would come every other Sunday morning and evening so my son and his family could attend church. And alternately Wednesdays so they could attend Midweek service.
After the passing, no thank you, but only the statement about mooching.
They paid the difference in any of the utilities.
His sister had internet installed so she could have it before anything happened.
Now, they want to buy his grandmas home, which is split between my husband and his sister,
The house is rundown and is barely worth the tax value.
His sister wants to hike the price up higher than what it would be worth after all repairs were done. She is trying to force him to believe he has no other choice but to make an offer or move out.
I thought these stories were made up. People are not really this ruthless. People are basically good.
Right now my heart is torn up for the family in the story I have been listening to.
My heart is broken for my son and the situation his family has been in. Prayers please.
Is she for real? Don’t you know a con man when you see it?
You demolish someones home you go to jIl.that home must be crap if a person does not care
She should have sent him packing after the first 5 minutes.
How Scott and his parents thought they coud do this is crazy!
You were stupid for marrying some one who's parent's are rude and mean what would make you think he would be better than them?
I agree with you
Horrible in laws.
Wow what a husband?
Pretty kitty.
The moral to this story is prison divorce .
How come this man is useless for his own home needs, food and laundry 😮
The same reason women are always blamed when a guy can't seem to produce y-spermies. Patriarchy
Because he's a man...
Eric your a Gem 🤣🤣🤣
Scott and his family are pathetic
In North America, we'd call police, he'd be charged and we'd take that police record to court to sue. She lost years of rental income that could amount to a sum he could never pay. And the court would order an amount of what it would cost to rebuild a similar dwelling.
this woman is stupid. mean people don't change
Is this the story where the SIL's parents steal all the belongings of the deceased and sell them online?
Omg why??
Are these true stories??
Alimony?
❤
Scott is a selfish creep, coming from creepy parents. You need a more caring person that shares the chores.
Your 56 and your father was 68?
You guys think this is unusual? I have to say this is more common than you all know. Men treat a wife like a maid allot more than you think.
Well not me
My ex would do whatever I asked him to. And he'd *only* do that. If clothes needed to be brought in, he just tossed them on the bed for me to fold. Forget about an obviously full garbage and not take it out unil I asked. Very frustrating.
Are these real????
Not a loving husband
Get divorced.
Story was too too long
Some horrible stories
Story to long
You should have called the authorities when they first trashed your family home!!! Then you should sue them.
Bad in-law
I know this is rude.......but, this story sucked.
Hey everyone ,
Its just a story .
Coment on whether u think that u think its good or not . Its fiction . Okay !
Who writes these stories. Honestly they suck!
Scots mom and father are wicked. How can they do this sell stuff that wasn't this.
dont let the door hit you in the ass on your way out
Is this common in Pakistan? Americans and Brits do not demolish houses as frequently as these stories portray. So they must be shacks in A third world country.
Well these stories are mostly from Japan.
Meaning of homes in Japan are not built to last. You should read up on their home customs. It's really interesting.... well to me anyway. LOL
Scott is a product of his family and she chose to marry him anyway 😮.
Seems houses in Japan are only expected to last 30 years. My house in UK is 40 and I consider it still new.
Brits rarely demolish homes, very rarely.
