    should have left paper out and started on bottom then turned over and cooked top otherwise its a nice colour

    Can't get a turnip?
    You're using turnip. That's the one we Cornish use.
    Only English call it swede .

      Turnips and Swedes are different vegetables. Turnips are white with a purple top and small. Swedes are bigger with a tougher skin and are yellow. They have a different taste and are the ones used in pasties.

      Yes the meat was cooked properly! It tasted great except for the pastry.
