‘We’ Pilipino, (Pilipinos), use different words with the same meanings. ‘We’ in the States, we say sidewalks. In the Philippines, we say, Colgate for toothpaste. In the States, we say Toothpaste and brand name is to buy Colgate or Crest, etc.
We are planning to go back as Balikbayan this October 2024. I am shopping around to get cheaper flight from LAX to Manila. One way trip can cost me $600.00+ per passenger. Coming back to the States, in January 2025, it will cost me $1,800+ per passenger one way. Altogether one passenger, can cost more than $2,000.00+ just for an airfare, round trip. Ang mahal.! Sa pamasahe pa lang ay malaking na ang magagastos ko. Yon pa titirhan namin, sa Makati, pasalubong, yon panggastos sa paglakad-lakad, laluna kung may mga kasama ka, ay talaga magastos. Plano ko, puntahan yon mga videos pinakikita mo sa amin. I don’t think, I will go back, due to the high cost of all airlines.

Madalas kaming dumadaan diyan, kasi yon kamaganak ko dinadalaw namin ay taga Angono, Rizal. Maganda pumunta sa Tanay, at bumisita sa Mahal ng Birhen sa top of the hill. Beautiful place to go to. Fresh air. The traffic everywhere is bad.
