Uday Mohole Tabla طبلة, the playing called Tatbeel, and Darbuka دربوكة, the playing called Darbaka, all of f these names came from Arabic Origins.

Hi, masters of darbuka, I have a technical question, I want to know the sound of KA and TEK should be the same in a professional darbuka? Because it seems in your darbuka these 2 sounds have the different sound. Is it normal? Or KA and TEK must have equal sound quality?

one more complicated and technical question, I want to know the top surface of the inside ring ( cross section of the ring ), where the skin touches the body shell, should be quietly flat and level? Or slope and gradient toward inner edge ( inner diameter )
this is a very important point and any change in this cross section change the sound quality especially tek and ka strokes, so would you please tell me the cross section of the internal ring should be sloped from outside diameter towards the inner diameter of the edge?

thank you, I have sombaty gawharet elfan darbuka, newly bought, but unfortunately, REMO does not match the height of metallic head and skin don't stay at the same level. metallic head stays upper level.
