Energy efficiency: Electric water heaters are more energy-efficient than gas water heaters, which can save you money on your energy bills in the long run.
Improved reliability: Electric water heaters have fewer moving parts than gas water heaters, which means there are fewer things that can go wrong.
Reduced risk of carbon monoxide leaks: Since electric water heaters don't rely on combustion to heat water, there's no risk of carbon monoxide leaks.
In addition to these benefits, our video also shows you how to use PEX and SharkBite fittings to connect the water supply to your new water heater. Very informative video. Thank you for taking the time. We are going to be installing the Richmond 50 gal in the next month. All electric house so look forward to some savings.
Make sure you give yourself a way to either vent the condenser or have it in a larger space (like a garage). If I didn’t vent this one I would be able to hang meat in that closet.
Do you happen to habe a list of tools and fittings? Thank you!
Breaker side ?
The breaker is on the wall behind our unit. if you are referencing the "reset buttons" I would assume they are in the connection panels on the front of the unit (typically where the older style thermostats and access points for the elements would be located.
Cutting the copper should be in the opposite direction with the pipe cutter
Good to know!
Sizes
This one was HUGE, Honestly bigger than I expected 75 gallon tank, but the overall size of a 100 gallon or more due to the compressor on top. They come in a 50 or 55 gallon as well I believe.
