Good job Kristyn! Maybe experiment remnants if you paint the inside of the foam with fray check - where it’s thin or punched through so it doesn’t rip anymore?
That’s a great idea! I could try a few different things in different holes to see what works better. I am going to tape or glue a thin piece of something to the bottom so the containers don’t slip though. That will get old real fast 😂

It just annoyed me that there was so much wasted space in the foam 😂

Mine do sink as well. Tom is going to be a very useful and put extra foam in the bottom. Hopefully that helps keep the bottles from falling under foam tray. I had to tell myself to look at other sections when I couldnt find it in the normal section. Not being able to keep in order is annoying. I get a zipper pencil case to put extras in the pouch. I agree!!!!! Companies PLEASE!!!!!! Give us a closeable pouches. Hi Duncan ❤ I wish a company would give us a case of all large and all medium options. Then options of no accessories or accessories. We only need so many accessories!! Using it for 30x40 and smaller is overkill. I think using for larger would be better. I will use it for a big kit and see how it goes with it.
I’ve started to kit up a big one in it but haven’t fixed the bottle slipping problem yet. So I have a box of filled bottles that will need to be organized, however that may go.
My goal this weekend between Aunt Jill cast iron cooking bootcamp with Chris (nephew) and organizing for Editor. Is to work on the bottle dropping issue. I will do a little short about it.

Honestly, watching you cut into the foam gave me anxiety, lol. You are far more patient than I could ever hope to be! I would have thrown in the towel and sent it back immediately when I saw they could be pushed down into the foam. I commend you for trying to showcase a new storage system though and what works for some doesn't work for others. I started out with the Harbor Freight cases 5 years ago when I started collecting sequins for shaker cards but back then they were $3.49 for the case and 24 little boxes inside. Last year I added to my collection just a couple and they are now $7.99 per case and they even shaved a little off of the size! I did purchase 2 Elizabeth Ward sets (one multi, SM, MED, LG) and one all extra small. So far, I think the largest painting I have has 67 colors and I haven't needed any other cases. I really like seeing the colors through the containers/boxes when they are kitted up too, though I may need both trays on my tabletop at the same time. I guess it's a tradeoff...
Normally I would make my hubs do it, but he was at work and I wanted to try. It would have looked nicer if he’d done it. I think I will try glueing or taping a thin piece of cardboard to the bottom to prevent them from doing through. Like maybe a cereal box or something. I love the EW as well, saw this and thought it could work for a bigger ammount of drills. May regret my decision 😂
Definitely put a zipper in. It makes the difference. I have a couple of storage cases with zippers and oh my god what a difference it makes.
Right?! Why can’t they just have them in there already? Don’t give me a half assed product. Even art dot containers have the floppy pocket.
Glue a card base onto the bottom of the foam to stop them falling through. 😊
I think I will have to. Maybe a cereal box or thin piece of plastic will keep it sturdier feeling and keep the bottles from going through it.
I have a case from Amazon but it’s not a process it’s by Artdot. I really like it.
I have a few from ArtDot as well and really like them. They are sturdy and not floppy. I wanted to try this one because of the different bottle size options 🩷

The reason they don’t come with all the diamond painting stuff is because they are made for seeds. So we are adapting something that is not for diamond painting to something for diamond painting.
That makes total sense 😂😂 I don’t mind it not coming with any extras. I just don’t like that the bottles slip through. That would be annoying with seeds as well

I can imagine it’s bothersome for some. My son can’t stand the styrofoam take out containers. Just touching one makes his arm hair stand up and he looks like he’s going to puke 😂 this foam was way squishier than the art dot containers. Not as sturdy at all.
