Of course they do. Everyone is innocent till proven guilty. And Sutton literally stated she lied, she made it about herself worrying about how Erickas situation would affect them, and garcelle insisted that she needed to return her belongings to people that were just accusing her and hadnt been proven right. They all needed to just support her while her life fell apart but i guess it was a great storyline to make her out a villain.
They owe her no apology. The whole thing with the earrings … it’s simple been said it can’t be proven that victim’s money wasn’t used, not that it wasn’t used. Erika … actually… none of them … should expect blind loyalty.

I mean apologies for what really, honestly yes I feel like danm they couldve gave their friend the benefit of the doubt a lil more than they did but when it comes to Garcelle they weren’t even as close as they are now so why would she apologize for expecting a little more empathy from Erica who all in all til this day dont gaf about the lives her than husband fucked over EVEN IF she didnt know, she stills only cares about her vindication. Which was Garcelle’s point & I agree with her that she stands on that forever as she should. Although I like this new Erica obviously she was aware that she was a bit out of touch and wanted to fix that so people weren’t just pulling these things out of their assets. Apologize for what? We are over the Erika Jayne redemption arc. She is misrepresenting what happened with the earrings. The court ruled they couldn't be possessed for Tom's _bankruptcy_ case on a technicality (that they're not part of his estate). That is a separate action to the cases about Tom's alleged fraudulent conduct. She's insufferable.

@@TreenaBeena they didn't say she was guilty, they said her story didn't add up, she had no compassion for the victims and she lied about Tom's accident, all of which are factual statements. If anyone's owed an apology it's Sutton bc the whole group was skeptical in one way or another, but Erika's wrath was mostly directed at Sutton bc Vyle and Rinna made her the scapegoat at Kathy's dinner.
@@alexandria2112 I saw the same show as you and I did not question Erika’s compassion. That is a matter of personal opinion. Sutton said, “I don’t know how much I want to be around my friend during this time" because she was afraid of what people would think of her, she suggested that Erika must have known what Tom was doing, and she grilled her for information as if she was a judge - all of this was before she had all the facts and had no reason to believe that Erika did those things. That behavior is not how you support a friend and I do believe that Sutton owed Erika an apology if she really considers Erika a friend of hers. Also, Erika did not lie about Tom’s car accident. She just did not tell them all the details. Lying is malicious. It wasn’t malicious. When you are in an abusive relationship like Erika was, you often hide things because you do not want people to worry about you and/or you’re scared of what would happen if your abuser found out that you told people something they didn’t want out there. Once Erika left the relationship, she confided in them, as is what often happens when someone leaves an abusive relationship.

So let me reiterate this once again: whether or not Erika had any direct involvement in the fraudulent activity of her husband is irrelevant because her excess lifestyle was still supplemented by the income that was stolen from plane crash victims.

*Erika’s ruling still stated the earrings were paid for from a client account*. The legal fees have cost double what the earrings sold for! Someone else is paying her fees so she doesn’t care. All of that money could have gone to the victims.

I have always liked Erika. Except when she was screaming that she had no empathy for anyone else, didn't care for anyone who lost money due to Tom. Erika is smart. I always thought so anyway. I never thought she knew anything about Tom's money or business. I think he was farrrrr more in control of her than anyone would guess. Remember how he corrected her when they had dinner with Lisa and Ken? Creepy. Having said that, I don't think the women care if she gets her earrings back. I don't. I want to see her GIVE them to the people who lost money due to Tom. SHOW some compassion! I think that's all the women want. I still don't think Erika was involved in anything. I do think she cares, I also think she needs to SHOW she cares. And stop acting like even with the loss of Tom and the mansion she was down and out. She wasn't. Still isn't. I think that it’s fine for Garcelle to not want to apologize to Erika. However, she needs to stop trying to hold people accountable or think she’s entitled apologies when she is supposedly “wronged”. It’s hypocritical, and I’m over it.
