Here’s more of an educational video, a history guide to the Silver Boys.
I decided to make this because now our Woong Seunghun Byounggon and Midam will be gaining new fans since they are now in new groups (and show), they might not understand what Silver boys is. Also I'm sure there are Mates who don't entirely know their history, so I'm here to help.💙
I may not be 100% correct and accurate but I tried my best to gather information and thank all the mates who helped. 💙

Imagine being the one of the first members and staying until the end. It must've been so hard seeing your friends go, leaving you the dream of debuting (together) they once had.
Yedam and Junkyu, you guys have been through a lot by staying.
And imagine, once dreaming of debuting together but reality didn't allow you. The other silver boys who left must've been through a lot too. Good luck on your future!

Byounggon and Seunghun already debuted under C9 Ent with Bae Jinyoung in a group called CIX 😭❤️ Also, Jeonwoong debuted with Daehwi, Woojin, Youngmin and Donghyun in a group called AB6IX under Brand New Music Ent ❤️
Sometimes I feel like being a MATE is like being Wannable, unlucky Wannable.
Sorry for carrying another fandom/group. I just feel they're lucky, even though Wannaone is separate now, at least they've released albums, performed on the big stage, do world tour concert, came on popular variety/reality shows. I'm really jealous 😐 because Silver Boys and MATE are just unofficial names.
But I'm glad, now they've their own flower path. Even now Silver Boys and Wannaone debut together as AB6IX and CIX. Hope they all can shine brightly 💖

The fact that Noa and Raesung did not join YGTB, they knew that YG had already a boy group in his mind that he planned to debut. Like Yoonbin, there are issues as to music differences, hence, they quit being idols or be part of the group that YG envision. Woong, Midam, Suenghun and Byounggon (I love them) will not fit to the group and there is age issue. I am super glad though that Yedam patiently waited to debut and agreed to be part in a big group. He is already a star and I bet if he had cut ties with YG, other companies will definitely signed with him.
The YG idols are not the typical Kpop Idols. They do not do the stuff that most of the idols do in terms of promotions and appearances (which sometimes frustrates the fans. Hahaha) They have these auras that yes they are kpop idols but they are way more than that. Treasure is yes different from other YG acts but you can still see trademark of YG within the group. Treasure is the new hybrid of YGe. The long pre-debut era since YGTB is worth it. The 12 boys are perfect together.
The response of their debut may not be the same to their seniors who debuted after Bigbang, but they are making their own name. Despite of the company’s unfortunate issues last 2019, Treasure is doing well and their fanbase is also growing. I just hope that Covid would be over so that they could perform with live audience bec that’s the main edge of YG artists, they are sooooooo awesome in live stages and I know that the boys are craving for it.
Btw, I believe that YG is still pushing his dream of debuting a SNSD-like YG girl group. Hahaha. With the debuted girl groups in the past years and even the groups who debuted with innocent concept, everyone is into 2ne1 and BP style so SNSD-like gg would be refreshing.

It’s would have been a hit group ...
it woulda been the legendary yg group who will have such a strong yg color when he used to complain big time how Winner is not really yg style... so annoying. This group was about to have the strongest vocals ever, a producer/arranger/rapper in the group, surrounded by other great rappers, and then great dancers... I'm a fan of treasure13 now but Silver Boys talent that left yg way better.. but YG is looking for that super young talent, Twice style with Korean and Japanese members, and then the "good looks" he wants. I really think that Raesung chose to be a producer when he found out Noah was leaving.
Watching this now after becoming a teume, i may not witness their long journey together but witnessing the hardwork of this boys as humans has always been real and inspiring. They strive to achieve their dreams. And I hope everyone of them could live happier and successful. I cried on the middle part of the video.

My favorite almost. Silverboys.
With their strong brotherhood and talent they could have been a monster rookie if YG just debuted them instead of being obsessed with survival shows. With Raesung, Hyunsuk and Byounggon's immense talent in rapping, soulful voices of Yedam, Noa, Junkyu and Jeonwoong, deep and powerful voices of Midam and Seunghun, dancing skills of Jihoon and Doyoung, and of course they can actually produce their own music. Already have a strong fanbase. We almost had another powerful group of big talents.

Awww~~ to my co-honeys/co-mate, thank you for making this 💞 Silver Boys' journey would take up to how many hours of story telling 😆 but you made it into a short video that is actually an accurate and not confusing history/journey of Silver Boys 🥺♥️ They have been through a lot. Now, they will be debuting on their respective groups and companies. MATEs will always support each of them no matter what 💞
It's sad how OT4 didn't stay together and debut. I think this shows the beauty of having a strong leader like B.I of Ikon who fought for Ikon members.. I wish Ikon and Winner hyungs had the chance to protect them! OT11 Silver Boys! forever!

The fact that Midam didnt make it to the final lineup of pd x 101 is making me more emotional than i already am over everything that already happened
SILVER BOYS FOREVER
They could have been the ultimate boy group. But sadly, the concept plan for YGNBB at that time did not suit them at all. Treasure right now is the perfect team for the concept that YG had planned all those years. They want to create a YGNBB that is like idol-manufactured like the typical BG (thank God, they changed their mind and let Treasure members participate in producing/composing their song tho). And Silver Boys are far from that, they are just too good for a typical idol-manufactured BG. If they were able to debut together at that time, they are just like other YGA that surely will make a huge splashed with their uniqueness and overwhelming talent. We have been robbed with the possibility but I am not complaining, I love Treasure as they are right now. They are the ultimate BG with a good-balanced of a typical BG with YG's swag and charisma. And I respect YHS decision, eventhough at that time I feel like I could not fathom what's in his mind because his losing this talented trainee (silver boys) but I've never doubted him. I mean, the fact that he created this BG and GB that I stanned and loved so much that remain the only reason that made me a K-pop fan, there is really no room for doubting him. I love Treasure and the other Silver Boys 💕 Just a interaction or collaboration of the former OG Team A is just one of my wishful thinking. And there's nothing wrong with that, hey, a girl can dream! 😁
It is unfortunate that the Silver Boys did not get to debut together.. But I thank YGE for creating Treasure.. I just love our Teu-babies.. Hopefully in the future, YD, HS, JK, JH, and DY will get the chance to collab with BG, SH, and JW.. If Midam won't debut, I wish him to find peace and something that would make him happy aside from his dream to become an idol.. Same with Noa.. Wish them all the best..

Watching this again 😣 and remembering how painful it was to us.. Waiting for them.. then watched them separating and now supporting all their new groups... Everything has a reason why they are separated. Becoming a mate was never a bad decisions the group that will never have

I'm literally crying rn. I came here bcs my tl is full of hate for mates. Most of my moots keep saying sb doesn't exist and sb was just an era so we should move on. This so heartbreaking. Yeah I know they are not an official group. They have their own lives now but please let us love and support them. And for some mates, please learn to respect their decisions and their own groups..

This video just came up on my recommendation and I'm crying knowing their history, while watching YGTB before I'm super confused on what's happening and why Treasure A is so comfortable with each other and for those year's past this is the first time I knew the story of Silver Boys they did a great job and Mates are so lucky to have them once in their lives, hope to see them together eating!! And I think they are now successful indeed.
