This part was actually really sad. Lincoln wanted more, always has and he gave it a chance with the 1 year check in. And Ilana tried too by actually committing to monogamy! But you can tell Ilana realized where the convo was going and that she was going to lose him. But I’m glad her and Lincoln were both honest in what they wanted.

when this episode first came out I was like ha the joke is that 27 is old and you should want kids by then! but I'm 28 now and I definitely don't want kids or marriage at this point in my life and relate so much to ilana's predicament. I would definitely feel like a child bride if I got married before 35 lol and 40 sounds like the only age I would feel ready to have kids
This part made me so sad because in reality this is how I would be if my s/o and I decided to break up in the middle of a many course dinner and realized it was the end.

This last season has had a lot more dramatic moments. It's been more of a dramedy. They've been wrapping up certain storylines and you can't make everything comedic when they've been dealing with serious coming of age issues. Broad City has never been a full on comedy anyway like something like It's Always Sunny. They've had serious moments sprinkled throughout the series. Is it the best comedy? Not by a long shot. But it's great in its own right. Broad City has been it's own thing and doesn't really fit the parameters of say a show like Workaholics.
