The first kill on Lissandra was actually insanely well played mechanically. As a fellow mage player I feel like it's hard to look as flashy on them as an Assassin player could, but that looked fucking nuts.
I actually find Mage outplays more interesting than Assassin ones. Like Assassins are MADE to do flashy outplays. Most Mages have less outplay potential especially once their cc is down but Zoe is backed up by her W

By the way, just wanted to mention it since it was a pretty obscure change, but Abyssal Mask doesn’t boost damage after you immobilize someone anymore. It’s now actually an MR drain item, made for AP tanks and bruisers like Morde and Maokai
the chasedown potential of this build is really interesting. BOTRK especially is spicy. Really fun match to see you pushed mechanically in different directions and still excel as Zoe because of your absurd experience and skill
This Zoe build would really excel in dueling, it's a shame everyone was always grouped.

The fact that Pekin can do troll builds against high elo players and just crush them is.. Intriguing.
Going bruiser items on mages is not really troll in the way going mage items on bruisers is because surrender and maw are completely broken.
Less troll than one might think, as bruiser items are just so much better they are better even on mages somewhat often.
...It's kind of silly to think of, though.
Honestly I wonder what it's like to be so good at the game hahaha I already feed my ass off in silver imagine going into diamond and totally stomping just cause its so easy

Bekinwoof would not have continually mixed up Kaisa with Kalista. But then again, you wouldn't be matched with his greatness, since he's the only one in the "Unchallenged" elo.

I feel like Essence Reaver would be good on this build. Even if it doesn't give you health or anything defensive it would probably help you a lot offensively
aside from the mana regen and the crit chance you don't get much from it since the most important is the sheen effect and sunderer already gives it

@3:23, you did not flash her Q. In fact, the only thing it looks like you flashed was her E. She used her Q early in the fight, then W -> E (which it looks like you may have flashed). Then Q when you walked for her flash. If you'd have done that a bit later, you'd have died to her Q.

Felt like frozen heart over randuins might’ve helped with mana issues but still an interesting build
A champion that can basically play 5 miles back while having multiple summoners and extra use items for safety. I'm pretty sure you could build her however the heck you wanted and find success. She's a great example of how win rate should never be used to balance a champion.
Hey, then wouldn't bruiser Vex work too? Her passive is not as good as Zoe's but her R is definitely better + shield + easier to land hard CC... You might be able to pull it off!
I would be interested how it would look with grasp over pta and maybe finding a way to incorporate demonic embrace to make the passive and spells hit a little harder while still giving good health

Sterak's would be good against their team.
Better route: Sterak's -> Death's Dance (Especially @24:56). You'd take even less damage and for the number of kills/assists you're getting, you're literally ignoring up to 30% of their damage.
Better build that would be more "bruiser", less "tank", and more damage - Sunderer -> Sterak's -> Death's Dance -> Dead Man's and/or Guardian Angel. Your choice of boots.
With a bruiser set up, you're looking for maximum survivability based on the types of fights. Death's Dance is literally made for team fighting. With your Q splash damage (or just AA'ing everyone once), you get kills/assists on repeat which means that extra 30% bleed damage just goes away... effectively you're taking 70% damage in team fights, which would make you ultra strong. And you'd basically have a "reset mechanic" - aka take damage -> get a takedown -> heal some -> rinse repeat until you kill everyone.
Frozen heart. Staple mage tank item in disguise.
I like these experimental videos, but I agree with you that bruiser Zoe is pretty niche and probably a little sub-optimal. It would have been better if your own team stopped throwing leads.

the last time i checked the only one consuming mana on Auto's is Jinx and only on Toggle Q not even zeri who swapped her Q for Autoattacks has mana issues attacking people with either q or right click

It's funny, I point out that this is a pretty low skill Zoe main that didn't even understand the interaction with lich bane comes back with a video showing off how Zoe with a spellblade item is a synergy. It's like he's learning, he's getting there guys, one day his champion mechanics might actually match his macro skills.
Its always fun to watch a challenger play carry diamonds and a boosted animal or two
Yup, bruiser items are every so often better than mage items even on mages. One really stellar inclusion for even more traditional builds is a pocket frozen heart. Builds like this or ones without a mana mythic really enjoy that mana, plus the tankiness is really generously statted for attack damage. Even the *Rock Solid* is a better version of Randuin's'. This is an especially dirty fakeout against people who build rageblade.
