SAC also supports planning and write back solutions to SAP systems, which Power bi do not have.. replacing SAP reporting tools with power bi is replacing meaningful solutions with fancy material

My experience following up the digital infrastructure in an oil operating company is that the world is usually not so simple as only to use data from one source, therefore I believe that most customers will opt for combining data in a data warehouse/Fabric or similar and build models and reports in Power BI. I suspect SAP will struggle to keep up with Microsoft when it comes to development, as it is already hopelessly behind on user friendliness and online community

Hi Wessel, just to complement your Analysis Live connectivity from SAP Analytics Cloud to a wide range of non-SAP data sources, it is possible to use APOS Live Data Gateway. Thanks

Hi! I believe that APOS runs on BW, so you can try to use the SAP BW Application Layer connector and use the hostname of APOS. Let me know if that works!

You can use the SAP HANA connector to connect these queries.
