Obsession (Niffty's Pursuit) - An Original Hazbin Hotel Fan Song

- Chasing a critter triggers a trip down memory lane for Niffty. A tribute to an under-appreciated character in Hazbin Hotel, and some speculation about how she ended up in Hell.
I had the idea for this over a year ago, inspired by Paranoid DJ's songs, and started working on it around the same time as my Welcome to the Internet cover. This is my first time writing an original song, and it definitely has its issues, but it's so much more than I thought I was capable of when I started. I purposefully chose the pilot design, just in case my interpretation of the character turns out to be completely different from the actual series.
Fun tidbit: I didn't need to pitch shift the majority of the Ratty squeaks, they were pretty close to the noises I'd make if I find someone moving my stuff without permission.
I am currently working on an original song for Rosie, where I'll get to sing with a more natural voice instead of the high-pitched character voices I used for Velvet and Niffty. Hopefully, I can finish it before the series releases this summer, it's a big project and I might even need to recruit additional voices... Wish me luck!

Niffty and Meilin Lee are the only characters I've ever fully kinned!! So I'm very happy to see a fan song about the first :DD

Love that you included the Japanese
One of the reasons that I really wanted to make something for Niffty was that I finished the Duolingo tree for Japanese around the time I started this project. I'm definitely not fluent, but I hope it ended up sounding passably convincing. I also did a comic dub with Husk and Niffty in Japanese as practice (見覚え - Remembrance), if you're interested.

después de escuchar Thank you and good nigth y ver que hay una aparición de Niffty me preguntaba si existían canciones hechas por fans sobre ella así que acabo de encontrar esta canción
no se ingles y mucho menos japonés así que voy a comentarles a canales de youtube que traducen canciones de hellaverse y pedirles que que traduzcan esta canción que parece no tener mucha popularidad
también podría mencionar en un tweet a una fanduber que sigo y preguntarle si estaría interesada en hacerle un cover en español
