- We all like getting a bargain, but sometimes those cheap cars can be a mistake. Josh decided to buy a cheap RX7 Mazda as a project and try repair it himself. What could go wrong? Rotary RX7 FC are very reliable right? Why not test it out with an 8 hour round-trip home? Should be fine... lol

Anything can be saved with enough time and money. It seems to run well with no problems on that long journey so it's mostly cosmetic work 👍🏻

Yes! You guys got an FC! My first car was an FC and it's my favorite generation RX7 that doesn't get nearly enough love on CZcams. I don't like that it's a convertible but it's so hard to find a hard top so I get it. I can't wait to see what you guys do with it!

It's journeys home like that, in clapped out sheds, that make for a class resto.. Something about starting from a really bad base that makes ya fall in love with them 👍 well ware josh 👍

Rotary rules:
1: never rave above 3krpm when cold
2: always premix
3: follow rules 1&2 all the times
4: enjoy
Never rev above 3k when cold is the same for any car especially Turbo ones
Rx-7's are my favorite no matter what model so hopefully it's able to get fixed

RX7s are sexy as fuck. The FDs have a timeless design and are one off the best handling RWDs to ever come outa Japan. The Rotarys get a bad reputation, but apparently run well when looked after properly.

That looks like a fd steering wheel of one of the later year cars. Prob worth good money.

Anything can be saved, ls swap it, later a single turbo up in the corner behind the light on the driver side. Anyway, had a gxe back in the day, was a great car, terrible mechanical and electrical bits though.
