There is 50$ worth of spot silver in the 70 gram dragon piece in the beginning of the video FYI... Trax asking for 14x over spot at 700$+.

There's no excuse for that piece being $700. Don't be fooled.
The garnet stone could be surprisingly valuable. Price caught my attention as well. Why not step up to gold at that point?

I'm a South African filmmaker (screenwriter and producer) and paid for my ticket into my local film industry, here in Cape Town, South Africa by taking advice from this channel 2 years ago.
In Cape Town silver 925 jewelry is a staple. And in the hood Krugerrands and any jewelry with that Krugerrand motif sells like crazy.
I think it was 2017 that our Rand Refinery up in Johannesburg started minting 999 silver Krugerrands and instead of having to use moulds and producing indistinguishable Krugerrands as pendants and earrings--the Cape jewelry industry had the opportunity to utilize actual Krugerrand coins for their collections, however, mofos didn't jump on that opportunity.
So, after staying tuned to this channel and taking the guidance, in 2018 I decided to start my own jewelry consulting company and filled the gap in the market with a few business partners down here at the bottom tip of Africa.
My business grew from a ghetto venture into a profitable opportunity for my team and myself in 2 years. Then 2020 and Covid threw the game off balance, but once again, thanks to the foresight I received on this channel I had stacked up enough raw metals to sit back and watch my money work for me.
Fast forward to 2021, I had enough piled up to afford my way into film school and I'm transfering my hustle from the jewelry game into the film industry to build my team and I up to levels we only dreamed of. And we still be dreaming. Bigger and bigger by the day.
And I don't even wear jewelry like that. But, Trax I've still got one particular 3D design I didn't get to make when the smart decision, in 2020, was to hold off on manufacturing for a while. If you're interested in seeing what it is and what can happen down here in Cape Town HMU. An opportunity to work with the legendary team taking over the New York Diamond District would be mega for me and my people.

What do you consider a fair price for something like that dragon? It is a jewelry shop in New York City. The dragon probably took far less labor than a ring, although it probably took far longer to design without much volume to offset that initial time investment. I am not sure on all those variables, but $450-$550 would seem a lot more reasonable.

Look yes his margins are high for silver, Iâm a jeweller traditionally family works in gold , since 1918, but have been also doing silver for couple years now, BUT, these margins are well worth it, heâs got a brand, out of respect for yourself u should have a set price. The labour even if itâs silver is high, designing, casting, wax, polishing up, setting, stones. It all adds up. I respect trax nyc because I agree silver is an industry thatâs underpriced and I like the way heâs taking this industry. Especially Muslim men arenât allowed gold, silver is preferred, I have a huge workshop that does silver traditional jewellery, I charge a good amount. Why? Because imagine going to Ferrari and saying to a dealer that no theirs 150 kg (example) of steal or aluminium, or any other material, and say I want to only pay 20,000 because the materials cost that. No one will do that, why? Because the brand, status, the quality product, each Ferrari is assembled, labour. Thatâs why a high price tag. I respect trax for doing that

Yeah these are nice pieces but definitely not investments. Silver is $0.68 per gram right now for pure silver. This is probably sterling... it has a big markup. Not saying it shouldn't have a good markup he has to pay for business expenses but it's never going to be worth more than you pay.
