    Damn it, I don't know why, but I'm crying. Actually, whenever I listen to a Hyperdimension Neptunia song, I end up tearing up. Play too much, became addicted, and now, I'm a mess.

    • @Ayahime0
      @Ayahime0 Před 8 lety

      +datbutterguy I'm aiming for the true ending since I get the feeling I won't be touching my PS4 for a while. I stop at Vert's part when I met up with Nepgear because unfortunately, I'm losing interest in playing video games in general. People on the internet say it's phase that all gamers go through. Ugh, I hate going through this phase.

      True. Neptunia openings and endings are so emotional. I've only played Re;Birth1 so far but most soundtracks, for instance Ryuusei no Bifrost, Go->Love&Peace, Re;Birth2 OP and Ito made me cry at least once already xD

      I think it's because you realize that you finished a great game and that it's over, when the ending theme begins. c': It happened to me too. I'm like, "wtf why am I tearing up???" :')

    • @Daktangle
      @Daktangle Před rokem +1

      7 years late reply, but you're right. The ending songs are always really emotional. None of them really hit me until VII's though, having gotten the Normal ending. That hit waaaaaaaay too hard, after everything I had just played through and I just broke down at not being able to save Uzume. That said, it made the cold open of Nep waking up from what felt like a nightmare make so much sense, like only the True Ending was real.

    NEPGER was such a nice touch for people who played the old rpgs and remember the extreme character limits of those games.

    • @17DS.
      @17DS. Před 6 lety +3

      I know that my reply is to a comment old as HELL, but I really wanted to complement it:
      The most interesting part is that "NEPGER" appears just in the English version, almost unintentionally referencing the 5-6 character limit when you enter romanized names in the character namy entry of the old games that every oldschool gamer remembers. "Almost unintentionally" because in the original Japanese version of the credits you see that the game had no problem entering Nepgear(ネプギア)'s name within the short character limit (as you can see here: watch?v=3BO48_uIQTM)
      This was indeed a nice touch from the English localization team

    Mostly every HDN is a different dimension, it would be good to see the Nepgear from the MK2 dimension after conquest ending in Victory 2 as a extra DLC with you traveling there with Long hair Neptune, it would be so emotional, pretty sure Nepgear would fall on tears.

    I don't get why many people say that conquest ending is the only serious thing in Neptunia. I'm gonna tell you that conquest ending felt really forced, with the characters doing thing they would never. The whole mk2 game had some great moments and friendship growth. The CPU candidates found themselves in a world without their sisters who always felt so flawless to them, but that time it was their turn to save them, for once, so they adventured and became best friends. Nepgear learnt how to handle things on her own. Uni learnt that it doesn't matter to be the strongest but only to have someone who makes you stronger. Rom discovered how to take her own decisions. Ram stopped taking decisions for Rom and opened to other people. Not only them, Warechu (Pirachu in english I don't know why) and Linda (Underling) were great. They may have argued a lot, but they cared about each other. Warechu, despite disliking Linda's crazy reckless actions decided to stick with her and he never abandoned her because he cared so much about her. Linda didn't want a world of despair, she only wanted to feel free and safe in a place she could call home. And how about CFW Brave? He wanted the children's happiness, but he learnt the better way to make them happy. Also IF and Compa, their bond with Neptune and Nepgear too guided them into a tough adventure, but they never gave up even if they were almost powerless. Or Nisa, 5pb and Gust but Cave and Falcom too who wanted to help everyone in the way they could. This was such a beautiful experience.

    @LeonGun8 Před 10 lety +5

    Imight have to add that Sega only was involved with the original. After that Idea Factory and Compile Heart have done the work solo. Idea Factory will even localize the new Vita remake themselves, hence NISA officially getting the boot from the franchise, with PP being the last Neptunia game they will be involved in.

      For some reason that happens with the neptunia franchise. The music is nostalgic, but at the point that you feel like you already saw the characters and/or played the games in your childhood, it's a really weird feeling.
