I can’t speak for anyone else but I myself find all your stuff entertaining and educational. It’s your channel so film what you want and what you enjoy l, there’s a lot more of us that appreciate what you’re doing sir than the handful of people that don’t. So awesome job
Thanks Craig!!
Boo who to the ones that don't like your videos. This is you Ross if I felt like doing a video on this same thing restoring a tractor most do care ir we are. This is our hobby to keep the old alive. Thanks Ross
Thanks! I think it’s better when people are themselves instead of putting on an act so I just try to be me.
Sing the praises! I honestly can't figure out why your channel doesn't have more subs.
All I can figure is I must have fooled around with Mr. CZcams’s daughter at some point and he’s punishing me. In my defense, I didn’t know it was her. Heck I never even learned her first name.
You have to think about the world back then. Mr CZcams was an upstart, and according to his daughter, an embarrassment. After a quite nasty divorce, she set out to hurt her father and went with her mother's maiden name, AOL. So it's easy to see how you wouldn't make the connection. Who would have known back then that Mr CZcams would have the success he does now, and would eventually seek out any man that his daughter was fond of and take it out on them to make her suffer.
@@ThatOliverGuyChris AOL….That explains why we could never make a good connection. Every time we’d just get going good I’d get kicked off. Just didn’t have that kind of time to spend constantly trying to get back on. That plus I met Ms. DishTV and she was more than happy to show off her satellites.
@@rosstheoliverman Nothing better than a pair of satellites that show you everything you want to see.
Thanks Ross and Chris you two are really awesome to read your comments and watch your videos it would be great if you guys would pair up more often to do a video together! Also with your combined knowledge of the Oliver tractors it is definitely a wealth of knowledge! I know I would be constantly rolling on the floor laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 thanks Michael
I too have an intersting life build things fix things equipment everywhere. I couldn't make vidioes because i don't have the patience. My hats off too all the CZcams creators that share their passions thanks.
It’s definitely more work than people realize. Especially the editing and computer work part.
I haven’t seen the tractor drive video but my advice is to just keep doing what your doing I enjoy watching your activities day to day that’s why I’m here. Thanks Ross!
Thanks John!
Hey buddy I don't care what people say about you I am 60 years old and I fell in love with your shows you do I used to work on diesels myself well I can't do it no more cuz I am in a wheelchair I have have I had how many strokes now I can watch one of your movies and not put my mind at ease about what I used to do I know a bunch of people don't care about it I do I love your shows if I could come and be up there I would be there everyday helping you worked on him tractors my grandpa used to have a big phone him had international tractors and John Deere's that's what I love to fool with and not what got me doing diesel work keep doing a good job the keep on doing what you have done Hamilton from Mississippi

Wunderbar, another 1755 lives on to work another day.
Yes, finally it’s back home!!
I like all your videos. They are informative and fun. I seem to naturally come off as a butt head to people as well sometimes. Don't worry about other people you do you
Thanks Adam!
Hey Ross just keep on doing what your doing I appreciate what you produce.
Thanks Jeff!
Some people have such sad pathetic empty lives that they like to be rude and complain about things that other people do. Just ignore them and keep doing your thing.
Thanks Brian!
Sorry you had to listen to some negative comments. I thoroughly enjoy your videos. You do great work and explain in detail your repairs. And with some good, clean humor. Keep on doing what your doing. Watching you has taught me many things and I thank you !
Thanks for watching!!! I’m glad it’s helping some people.
Ross, I think your videos are informative, definitely interesting, and the humor you throw in along the way is simply icing on the cake!!
Please continue being yourself Sir!!
Thanks Donald!!
You have a great personality and a great sense of humor much less a super wealth of knowledge. So if they don't like you cockle do screw them.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thanks!!
Ignore the haters and keep making videos. I’m from Kentucky and people all over the country enjoy your videos. Keep being yourself and enjoy yourself
Thank you Steve!
I like your videos. Very interesting with a little humor.
Thanks Robert!

Good to see you work on getting the issue on the relief valve resolved. I don't know if that took care of it, I see more videos on the 1755, maybe it's a different one. I'll have to check them out when I can. Thanks and I hope your having a good day!🙂

You are so very right about how you are
I try.
I really enjoy your videos and it's great to keep the great Oliver equipment going.
Thanks Don!
Do not change one single thing. My wife and myself love the music and your sense of humor. I like the Oliver content.
Thanks Tom!!!
I don’t understand how anyone can be offended by your videos. It seems like you’re doing good work, passing on some knowledge and having a fun time with a splash of sarcasm mixed in. Maybe people are taking things too seriously? I don’t know but I guess I’ll keep watching anyway. 🤓👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for watching Cory!
Enjoy your videos ! Caught a couple tips and tricks to work on my Olivers
Thanks Kevin!
I never seen anything wrong with your tractor drive video it was ok i did fast forward a bit I'm not much on tractor drives either lol keep it up your doing good
Thanks Mike!
Don’t change anything! We appreciate watching oliver machines running in places like sw mo that is hard to find any thing oliver that’s not a tractor. Implements are very rare around here
Thanks Matthew!!
Ross don't change anything differently than how you been doing your videos, I really enjoy watching them and you're very funny, I enjoy watching them. Thanks Michael
Thanks Michael!
you r doing a fine job don't worry about the naysayers they r just a part life
Thanks Russ!!
i discovered your channel about 2 months ago i grew up on a dairy farm milking cows and driving truck i think your channel is great i enjoy learning about working on the different equipment and watching you do whatever you do from day to day whether its farming or doing the tractor drives i think you are knowledgeable and very funny i think you do a great job i wouldnt worry about what people say i enjoy your content keep up the great work and the hell with anybody who has a problem with you
Thank you!!!
Well i for one really enjoy all of your videos Ross. I grew up with Farmall and IH tractors and equipment and i have owned some John Deeres at times too. We never had hardly any Olivers or Whites in my area but by watching your channel and a few others i have developed an admiration and love for Oliver and White equipment. They truly were ahead of their time in many ways. I always learn something when watching your repair videos and i love watching you operate these classic machines from our farming history. As always very great content.
Thank you!! I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos
Ross, good explanation of any discontent! Don't worry about it! Put it behind you, real friends tolerate differences. You ARE doing a good job.
I hope we can work it out. I really didn’t mean to hurt his feelings.
Ross, some people are never satisfied. Some think moaning and complaining will get people to pay attention to them. I think you put out great content. I love seeing your interaction with Mr. Losey as well. Do not be despondent over what someone complains about in your comments. Ask them if the have a video showing how they'd do it, and mention you'd really like to see it. I think you're doing great!
Thank you!!! Yes it’s fun when we’re all having a good time!
not sure who is slamming on ya but I enjoy your videos an the humor so keep on keeping on as your buddy would say
Ross, my dad and I farmed with Oliver and White equipment many years. I really enjoy your channel as I can see how others repaired broken parts. I especially enjoy your sense of humor and off hand comments. I too have a somewhat warped sense of humor too. Thanks for posting. Lee Bretzlaff Villa Grove, Illinois
Thanks Lee! It’s pretty warped 🤣🤣🤣
When I was driving over the road, me and about 10 other guys were in a phone group. Basically helped each other at different shippers and receivers. One of the main rules to be in the group was, leave your feelings at home. We picked on each other relentlessly. So, you ain't said nothing that comes close to affending me. Keep up the good work dude.
It’s just like when I worked at the auto parts store. Guys ripping on each other but all in good fun.
Keep up the good videos Ross don't worry about anybody else you do excellent videos funny and entertaining we got to keep the tractors going definitely learn a lot from you I'd rather watch videos than trying to figure out from a book thanks
Thanks Dave!!
And I'm really partial to the 1850 and 2-155 white
The 1850 I think was there all time best seller. I think they should have put the Perkins in the 1955 and had it turned up to about 125 to 135 horse. That would’ve been a heck of a tractor
Ross I think your content is great! Please don't change anything !
Thanks!!!
I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work. I enjoy the humor.
Thanks Greg!!!
Hey Ross
You’re doing a fine job. Everyone gets the Reda@@ every once and a while 😊
Thank you!!!
I have never been offended by your content, as a matter of fact your videos are my most frequently watched and shared. I am offended by the fact that you had to put that disclaimer in this content, like you said if someone doesn't like it they can lea e at any given time during a particular video! Thank you for all your work!
Thanks Shawn!
Ross continue what you’re doing my friend. You have an awesome channel it is your sarcastic comments and your humor that make us all enjoy your personality and the channel. I know it may be difficult but forget all of the people or should I say the few people that have negative comments there are a lot more that will defend you. Awesome job buddy!
Thanks David!
Great videos every time!! Your videos are so very educational and I have went back on them several times to refresh myself on your training. Please keep making Oliver Videos and explaining as you work! Someone not happy watching I say go away don’t watch!!
Your very kind and considerate so don’t let hose jerks get to you!! I for one wants to say Thank You for all your on job training it really has helped me. Your friend from South Dakota!
Thanks John!!
Thank you for the video Ross! Just what i was looking for on setting the pressures! keep up the great work!
Thanks! I’m glad it was helpful.
I think your doing a great job Ross! I’ve learned a ton from your videos. Keep on keepin on.
Thanks Dan!
I don't think any CZcams channel should have to explain themselves or apologize for hurting someone's feelings. Whiners never win and winners never whine. Matter of fact Whiners typically don't ever do wrong only because they don't do anything... just keep doing what you do and let all that other stuff roll off like water on a duck's back.
Thanks Jerry!
I enjoy your videos and love Oliver’s. Last I checked we are in america.
Thanks Travis!
We need to work on this friendship Ross, I’ve been on the internet for a long time and you haven’t even cracked the top 500 offensive things I’ve seen or heard. 🤣
🤣🤣🤣 You should see the things I don’t say! I usually just text those to Losey. Lol
I wondered about that, field vs road lights. What might be great in the field could be dazzling on the road
I have mine wired up were all the white lights come on on both positions.
I liked the tractor video I enjoyed the tractors and scenery, if those people just can't enjoy it go somewhere else, iam sure we would be friends if we lived closer nobody is perfect and we all have faults. A day in the sun is better then one in the dark , as iam sitting in the combine opening up some fields for air movement. Then watching your video I believe you enjoy working on stuff and so do I. You do good things in life I believe you get rewarded for it sometimes in different ways. From turkey creek farms be safe n thankful
Thanks Earl! Good luck with harvest!!!
Excellent info on setting the hydraulic relief valve and system pressure. How fast did you have the engine running when doing the tests? I also have had problems with my pto hydraulic control valve on my White 4-175. A snap ring in the valve failed the first time and took out the pto clutch plates. The new pto clutch plates only lasted about 4 hours. Will check my valve as you did for wear. I did check the pto and brake input pressure and it was 250 lbs as the shop manual specifies. I also have a few videos posted on my 4-175. Keep up the good work.
I let the Engine warm up for a while and then set the pressure with it running about 3/4 throttle
Nevermind the gauge question. I thought you had it plumbed inline between two points with a hose. Now I see it is just the one point you discussed.
I enjoy your channel, If I were you, I’d just keep doing what you’re doing.
Thanks Michael! That’s the plan!!
I really like your videos I was just wondering about the Waukesha motorsi worked in a Oliver white dealership when I worked there we had a lot of Waukesha motors with rods through the side of the block is that common in your area
I wouldn’t say that’s common unless you turned up the fuel a whole bunch. There definitely were a few of the 1855s that blew up but other than that not very many. The Waukesha engines are pretty tough overall. Like a 1650 or 1655 I have seen those things beat to death and still going.
A job well done my friend 👍🏻✌️👋🇺🇸. What is the wire tool you are using name , model. Sorry having a brain toot for the correct word lol
Are you talking about the Snap-On Wire pliers? I’ll have to look up the model number but any snap on truck should have them.
Mr Ross do you if they got a problem with you tell them to stop looking at your video and do what they want to do I love your videos and want to buy some tractor from you like the 1600c and the 1755-1855 I have All three of them Sammy Collins
Thanks Sammy!!
No comment:)!!!
🤣
Another great video 👍. To the sensitive snowflakes out there, find someone else to bother. Ross, you are the man!
Thanks TrkFarmer!
You ok Kipling going
Thanks John!
First of all, I bet you're glad that project is finally completed. It's been a long row to hoe. Secondly, I can't for the life of me understand why people found your tractor drive video offensive. I watched the original, then watched the second one (and wondered why you re-did it). I saw nothing I would see as offensive. Your videos are fun and entertaining, informative, and helped me make a new friend in Indiana. It's just like I've said on some of my videos, for someone who doesn't like them for any reason, there are many other choices out there on CZcams. So, I say just forget those offended people. Keep the videos coming, my friend.
Thanks Charlie!
I love your videos..
Don't change a thing!
To hell with the worthless negative cry babies!!!
Thanks Damien!
Where did you get your relief valve shims, and how many did it take? The parts manual lists a couple different sizes (0.0149 and 0.004). My 1855 relief is starting to blow at 1800 and is fully open at 2000 (similar to the situation you encountered). Near immediate hydraulic fluid overheating is occurring also. Thanks
I ordered them from AGCO. There’s only one thickness available.
I added a bunch of 3/8", stainless steel washers in lieu of the proper shims (their ID was extremely close to that of the installed shims but the OD was a little bigger without creating interference). The relief pressure would not raise above 2000 no matter how many I added. Is there a problem with the valve itself? BTW, I had a joystick set up as an open center for a while on this tractor before realizing my mistake and changing it. Could that have caused damage leading to this malfunction?
Hey Ross, I was just curious as to the hydraulic fluid you use. Brand, grade, weight ? There are so many choices and I'm sure most will do fine but wanted your input. Have a blessed day !
I use premium Hydraulic oil from NAPA.
Thanks Bud. 😊
Hey ross love what your doing. I have a question is the 55 series Oliver’s come stock with a turbo or is it something you have to add on your own time
1950T, 1855, 1955, 2150 were the factory turbo models.
In my experience, things usually get messed up when the user doesn't read the manual.
I think in this case it has to do with the amount of hired help over the years. Sometimes when you get people from out of town they don’t really care whether they screw it up or not.
Why would anyone have a problem with the tractor drive video? It showed a variety of tractors all nice tractors.People are such snow flakes these days.
Thanks Jeff!
People are sissies don't pay no mind to them personally I enjoy the s*** out of it
Thanks Brian!
Hey buddy keep doing you don't worry about what other people think if they don't like it they don't have to watch it. I can't speak for anyone else but I enjoy your content and look forward to watching your videos and obviously the majority of the people that subscribed to your channel feel the same.
Thanks Tim!
😄👍👍👍
Thanks Paul!
