The Motherland (Zad O Boom)

fter nine years that Abolhasan Davoudi’s fans have been waiting to see his award-winning film, The Motherland, finally it starts its public screening in Iran today.
Motherland deals with the search for identity and has won two awards at Fajr Film Festival for Audience Award for Best Film and Best Screenplay (by Farid Mostafavi). Motherland has also been nominated for the Best Actor (Massud Raygan), Best Supporting Actress (Pegah Ahangarani) and Best Film (Abolhassan Davoudi).
